The sky rippled unnaturally as the rift expanded above the ocean. The clouds twisted like a whirlpool in the heavens, colors bleeding in ways that defied the natural spectrum. Everyone stood frozen, staring upward in dread. Ryusui's comms cut out with a sharp burst of static.

"I'm going," Saiki muttered, already raising two fingers to his temple, preparing to teleport.

"WAIT!!" Subaru screamed, his voice cracking with desperation. "Saiki… that's more trouble than her!" He pointed toward Asa, who blinked with confusion.

Yoru whispered from deep within Asa's mind, her voice low and dangerous. "Who does this kid think I am? I'm the War Devil. One of the Four Horsemen of Calamity."

Saiki narrowed his eyes. "What is it?"

Jinwoo's expression turned grim. "Subaru's right. It's a Monarch."

Kazuma gave a dry laugh, trying to cut the tension. "C'mon, it's Saiki. We're fine. What's a monarch compared to him?"

"No," Subaru said firmly. "He died."

The laughter died. The air turned cold. Silence wrapped around the group like a noose.

From the background, Light Yagami approached, having just arrived. He caught the last word and froze. "A Monarch?" he repeated, eyes narrowing.

"Antares," Jinwoo confirmed, his voice like stone. He raised two fingers and tapped both Light and Saiki's foreheads.

A mental flash: massive wings blotting out the sun, a skeletal dragon made of obsidian and dread, flames rising from a ruined city, a red-eyed titan laughing amid death. The Monarch of Destruction.

Light's fingers twitched. He reached for his watch. Click.

"Stop," Gojo said sharply, grabbing his arm. "Whatever you're about to do—don't."

"It only takes forty seconds," Light said, calm as a whisper. "Just keep him still."

Without another word, Jinwoo and Saitama launched forward, vanishing in a blur as they raced across the sea toward the source of the monstrous aura.

Shadow followed silently behind, his cloak flapping like a living thing.

Gojo sighed and began his chant. "Phase. Twilight. Eyes of Wisdom. Nine Ropes. Polarised Light. Crow and Shomyo…"

His Six Eyes blazed like starlight as he finished:

"The gap between within and without—Hollow Purple."

The rift widened. From its heart, Antares emerged—his humanoid form regal and cruel, draped in darkness.

"What a greeting," he drawled. "Not even wasting time to get rid of me? Too bad—you're all just humans. I am the Monarch of Destruction."

Behind him, Jinwoo appeared midair, his arms crossed.

"I'm the Monarch of Monarchs," he replied, deadpan.

BLAST. Jinwoo struck Antares square in the jaw, sending him flying through the air.

"Serious Series—Serious Punch," Saitama said casually, appearing above and hammering Antares downward into the ocean with a shockwave that parted clouds.

Five seconds on the clock.

Saiki raised both hands. A sphere of energy condensed above him, glowing brighter by the second.

Kazuma squinted. "Wait, wait! Isn't that the Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball!?"

Zero seconds.

Antares floated back up from the waves—lifeless, arms limp. A faint hiss escaped him.

Saiki exhaled. "Good grief. It's not over."

The body twitched.

Suddenly, a guttural laugh rolled across the sea. Antares' chest heaved. "You think a spell will kill me?! I AM THE MONARCH OF DESTRUCTION!!"

A shockwave erupted. Purple energy pulsed across the ocean in a wave of force. His form morphed and twisted—wings expanded, horns curled from his skull, obsidian scales coated him like armor. His eyes became crimson voids.

His true form had emerged.

Shadow's voice rang out. "EVERYONE GET OUT OF THE AREA! ATOMIC!!"

Megumin grabbed Rudeus's staff and aim. "EXPLOSION!"

The mana of Rudeus got intertwined with Megumin. "He- hey stop, that."

Makima stepped forward calmly and touched one of Jinwoo's shadow soldiers.

"What are you—?!" Jinwoo turned, but the shadow vanished in a blink.

System update: 1 Lost Shadow Soldier

"She can do that?" he muttered.

The left wing of Antares gets crushed with the sound of broken bones.

Beneath Antares, a detonation of black energy exploded upward—like a vortex trying to crush reality. But Antares was still standing, now furious.

Saiki tried removing his glasses, but Antares flickered in front of him.

"Ooh. That looks dangerous. You're like a Monarch… but one that rules nothing."

A glint of steel—Javier lunged, sword glowing with divine energy.

Antares caught it effortlessly.

"Oh no you don't."

Pan to Lloyd, miles away on a cliffside, scanning the battle with his scope.

"I need an update," he said flatly.

Kusuke's voice crackled through the comms. "Radar's losing its mind. What's happening?"

Lloyd's face darkened. "Trouble."

---

Cut to the containment room.

Sukuna sat on his throne of shadows, watching the sky darken beyond the glass.

"Interesting…" he muttered, eyes glowing. "HAHAHAHA. YOU BRATS WILL DIE."

---

Back at the battlefield, Yoru lifted Asa's arm, aiming a finger.

"Bang," she said.

Right wing of Antares had a hole but it regenerated in seconds.

Denji shivered, "Gross."

Nothing happened. Antares didn't even flinch.

He threw Javier aside like a toy, roaring with laughter.

Saiki winced. That shouldn't have failed.

From the right, a powerful punch slammed into Antares' tail, causing the creature to stumble.

"You seriously thought you could just whack me and get away with it?" Saitama asked, floating midair, his cape fluttering.

Saiki again tried to remove his glasses.

Antares laughed. "What is it with the glasses anyway? You think that'll help?"

---

Back at the base, Senku calculated frantically on a whiteboard as dust rained from the ceiling.

"Five minutes. Eighty meters in growth per pulse," he muttered.

He handed a glowing, mineral-like rock to Todo. "Teleport to the fastest person you know. Tell them: throw this at the big guy."

Todo vanished and appeared beside Gojo and Shadow. "Here."

Shadow caught the strange rock and blinked. "Huh."

---

On a hill, Darkness trembled. "Ka-Kazuma…?"

"No! You'll just get in the way!"

Rudeus turned to Frieren. Their eyes met, and something unspoken passed between them.

She nodded once.

Together, they charged—two mages moving as one.

Rudeus concentrated his dense manapool larger than laplace's and casted Stone cannon, hitting Antares' feet with a sudden mire of hardened mud.

Frieren fired Zoltraak, a blast of compressed mana like a star condensed into a spear.

Antares took the hit and laughed. "Futile!"

Suddenly, Gojo appeared beside him, gaze unreadable.

"Domain Expansion: Infinite Void."

Space folded in like a clam snapping shut.

---

End.
