Old Master Ye didn't hesitate to answer this question as it involved his cultivation.
"I tried to open the door by normal means. I just pushed it, but the result is what you see." Old master Ye complained.
Hong Jun looked at them with a strange expression.
"You too?" When Old Gu saw that he was being asked, he nodded with some shame.
"Hahahaha!" Hong Jun burst into laughter, before finally calming down. He was very excited when he thought about the fact they tried to open the Heaven gate using such means.
"Do you know what the heaven gate representats?" He didn't rush to answer but asked a question instead.
"What does it represent?" Gu Tian asked.
"We are not like those that follow the path of Qi cultivation. The path of martial arts is to not only allow the physical body to evolve and become like an independent world, but other aspects such as the spirit and mind are also required to evolve."
This words where not his original knowledge but nonescence he had read once in some novel.
It was just that the plot of that novel suited his current situation very well as the main character couldn't cultivate but only practice martial arts.
Getting some high sounding words from it was just the right thing to do.
Anyway, he was stimulated by the information the old guys had just told him about seeing a gate.
Since the gate existed, he didn't mind using that information to put an explanation on things.
"The Heavenly Gate is the way to allow the body, spirit and mind to be elevated on another level. If the Heavenly Gate is broken, then the body is able to breakthrough the limit of a mortal and one can enter the Innate realm." He spoke as though he had seen it happen.
"Huh! Innate realm?" The moment the old guys heard this name, their expressions become excited.
"Innate realm should be strong right?" They couldn't help but ask this.
"Well! The moment you enter this realm you will naturally know. But it is impossible for you to open the Heavenly gate without cultivating intent to the ninth level. Only after it reaches the ninth level can it be possible for the spirit to even stand before the gate." He offered this information and smiled.
He obviously was curious if this old guys would be capable of accomplishing something great and reach the ninth level of intent before him.
He was confident that he could raise his spirit and physique to a higher level in just a few years.

"By the way old Gu! It seems that you where handsome back then? If I had not seen it myself, I might actually not believe it!" Hong Jun commented casually.
Old master Ye suddenly looked at Old Gu and realized the old man's face had turned youthful. Only the white hair was proof he was an old man.
"Oh Shit! Old Gu! What medicine have you consumed? You have actually become younger? I'm not dreaming right?"
He couldn't believe it, and wanted to touch old Gu's face.
Old Gu Tian didn't let him, as he pushed the hands away.
"Go away!"
When Old Gu Tian saw old master Ye's face, he reacted.
"Old Ye! Your face?" He was shocked and touched his own face. He couldn't believe the wrinkles that had covered his face in the past were all gone. His skin was smooth that he thought it was a dream.
Hearing Old Gu's words and his actions, Old master Ye also touched his own face and was shocked by it.
The two old guys turned to look at Hong Jun with a puzzled expression.
"Clan master! This... Our face?" They clearly wanted Hong Jun to give them an explanation and yet he didn't know anything.
"Why are you two looking at me like that? I should be the one asking you questions. It is your face and not mine, how should I know why you look younger and even more handsome than this clan master?" Hong Jun rolled his eyes at them.
He didn't understand why this old guys where to shameless to ask him when they could already more or less guess the reason.
"Okay! Stop pretending! Tell me, how much lifespan has been added to your life?" He was indeed curious.
The two guys had even seen the Heavenly Gate, only one explanation was possible, their spirit was already at the limit it the mortal body.
Since their spirit was so strong, it was not shocking that the two guys where so good at practice of martial arts.
Looking at them like this, he couldn't help but complain at lucky they where.
"You old guys are already enjoying the benefits of Innate Realm in the grandmaster realm? But I think you should work harder to improve your body foundation." He wasn't lying.
The two where old and their blood Qi was no longer what it should be. If they managed to increase their blood Qi, the body would obviously become stronger and make is easier for them to breakthrough in the future.
He was already sure that even if Innate realm could be entered, it was not easy to achieve by just reaching the ninth level of intent.
"Best not to think too much." He stopped himself from being obsessed with this issue.
His eyes sudden shifted towards jade pillar. It seemed to have changed slightly, but he couldn't specifically pinpoint the change.
"Let's head back! I just got something good and with it, we might just be able to stand out in the world in the future." He said to the two guys with a mysterious expression.
"What is it?" Old master Ye was not like Gu Tian. He wanted to know what it was immediately.
