Netles
It's been a week after the conversation between Arnold amd Ariana on that topic. Netles was a small town where mountains kisses the sky and fog spread at night like a net. People believed on them to won and bring back what belongs here.
Ariana was on the street where a little girl bumped into her-
Thud!
" Ahh. My apologise you majesty for the trouble. I hope you are not hurt" That little girl began.
"It's ok" Ariana said kneeling on the ground and cupping that girls cheek. "But make sure you will not bumped again-it may lead to wound you."
"Thanks for your sincerity your majesty" That little girl murmured and went.
Inside the pavillion of Ariana,
Ariana was inside her pavillion reviewing the scrolls when Arnold approached.
"You are looking not in your own" he said entering in her pavillion. something is bothering you, isn't it?"
"I collide with a child this morning and her presence remind me of Ana and Mary." Ariana murmured. " It's been a year when last time i saw them. They grew up all without a mother's presence."
" You really care for them, don't you?" he said.
"Even if i didn't give birth to them but still they are my children. Aria took care of everything alone without me so now it's my turn to do something for them" She whispered then silence.
Then she continued " I know they are in Minoka academy and nothing is more safer for them more than that place-not even the palace. But a mother's heart always care for her children"
Silence.
" You are right. They are your children… no, they are our children" he claimed.
Late at night.
A pigeon appeared from the nearby forest with a letter-Aria.
Dear sister.
I am happy and proud of you for your success in Roothallow. I amuse it as a victory of us not only of that land but of all the lands they have from us because something big start with something very small even we couldn't see it because it is the start of a new journey and you are already giving your best.
And i come bearing joyful news-everything is settled with Dagon kingdom and Prince Darius agreed to think of becoming an ally but something sacred is here to know-king of koch dynasty spread all the mess between our and Dagon kingdom. You will have to be aware while battling with him because he is a beast in human form. I did my work and now it's your turn. Hope to meet you soon.
Aria Asia
"I knew you could and now let everything on me and yeah-we will meet soon" Ariana whispered to herself.
Inside Arnold's pavillion.
He was checking the paper work of goods and supplies of materials of the capital send by Aria.
"She is amazing on this. I am assure i gave the kingdom on right hands. And i can proudly said that she could be the new and a great empress." Arnold murmured to his advisor.
"Are you sure? Because she is just 15 now and we couldn't just admit it so soon." The advisor requested.
"Ability don't see age Noro but intelligence do. When i was a heir, no one asked me that could i really able to became a heir-instead they believe in me just because i was a prince but Aria is not like that-she proved her worth and herself." Arnold replied leaning back in his sette.
Silence.
Noro didn't said anything after that because he knew what arnold is saying and the weigh of it was more heavior than his own age.
Next morning
On the battle field, Ariana lead her soldiers and killed the enemies like they were just papers.
Arnold saw her from afar, looking at her posture that how she was hiding her emotions inside the fury. He saw how her hand clinched on her side whenever she killed someone as like regretting but. He saw the way her eyes looked at them with sincerity.
And he hated it that how much pain she was bearing inside her, he hated the way he couldn't did anything for her and the way he his feelings were growing more after the time.
It was a foolish thing, didn't it?
No, but it was the most sacred thing only few people has.
That night outside the pavillion.
He was sitting on the ground when she appeared behind him.
No one said any word and there was only silence before Ariana approached.
"What are you thinking because you only sit like this while you were in deep thought." she asked.
"You know everything about me, don't you?" he asked looking at her when she sit beside her.
Silence.
Then he added looking at the sky "I saw you today, really looked at you-the way your hand trembled, the way you hated yourself for their death, the way you just wanted to escape."
silence.
"Do you remember once i said i want to escape from all of it-from the title of a princess, heiress, from the battle and from…myself" She paused for a second then added "…but i think we can't escape from our fate no matter how much we hate it"
"No, you are wrong. It's not fate but the situation we are in and when it all finish-you will be the first one who break the shell and fly. Sometimes situation don't go like what we want but doesn't mean it's fate."
Silence.
"So you mean i can fly?"She asked.
"Yeah. You could fly and i will be there beside you so that no one could stop you from flying" Arnold murmured looking back at her.
Their gaze lingered more than a minute then both of them looked at the sky as if it is holding something sacred they both was about to unfold.
