"So it's true, after all," Hades muttered, his cold gaze fixed on Selena as she worked her mouth around him, trying desperately to please him with her tongue and lips.
Her eyes flicked up to him, shimmering with unshed tears, but not one fell. He had told her clearly. He didn't want to see a single tear.
"You really aren't good at what you do," Hades added with venomous calm. "No wonder Casadin never gave you another chance after that pathetic blowjob you gave him last year. You're nothing but a pretty face."
The words hit like a slap, insulting, degrading, merciless.
But instead of flinching, Selena swallowed her pride, along with her saliva, and kept going. Her jaw trembled, but her voice didn't break.
"I'll do better," she whispered hoarsely. "Just… give me a chance."
She sat up straighter on her knees, the towel she had wrapped around herself slipping off in a single motion, baring everything. Offering everything.
Hades raised a brow, expression unreadable, and gave a slow, disinterested shrug.
"Then do better before I get bored, Selena," he said with a cruel smirk. "It would be a breach of contract if you fail to satisfy me."
Selena forced herself to focus. She did everything she had learned, every technique, every seductive move she had seen in explicit videos, memorized in secret, back when she still believed that one day, she'd use them to make Casadin look at her again.
But none of it worked.
Hades didn't respond. Not a twitch. Not a sound.
They say it's human nature to respond to touch, to stimulation, even if the mind resists.
But Hades was still. Cold. Detached.
And the longer Selena tried, the more frustrated he became.
Because now, he understood something.
This was exactly how his father felt every time Hades tried to please him.
Every time Jupiter Falcon ordered him to step up, to be the Falcon heir, and Hades did what he was told, even when he loathed it… even when it wasn't what he wanted to be.
And still, his father would only look at him with disappointment.
Hades almost laughed at the bitter irony.
Who would've thought he'd finally understand his father's frustration, in the middle of a humiliating, mind-numbing act like this?
And now… now he wondered.
Did Jupiter know about Cieryl's betrayal all along?
That she had been fucking around with Thatcher while parading as a perfect girl?
Of course he did.
Nothing escaped Jupiter Falcon.
And now, for the first time, Hades understood why his father never approved of Cieryl. Why he wanted Hades to be good enough for someone else.
For Evadne.
The one girl who could make Jupiter Falcon pause. The girl with sharp eyes and a sharper tongue. The girl who laughed at a fake sex scandal as if it were a school prank, who had the guts to fake an entire sex act in front of a crowd just to turn the narrative on her terms.
If that had happened to him?
Hades wouldn't have stopped until everyone involved had paid in blood and tears.
But Evadne? She turned it into a joke. And walked away unscathed.
She was untouchable. Unshakeable. In a league of her own.
And Jupiter didn't raise Hades to be a perfect man for Evadne, he raised him to be worthy of standing beside her.
Hades's gaze dropped to Selena.
Still on her knees. Still trying. Still failing.
Suddenly, Hades saw it.
A sliver of similarity.
Selena's lips. Her nose. Her ears.
They almost looked like hers.
And just like that, just with that forbidden, fleeting thought of Evadne's mouth on him…
His body responded.
He hardened. Instantly. Violently.
Even he hadn't expected it.
"F–fuck," he hissed, jaw tightening, hands gripping the arms of the chair. He clenched his fist, forcing himself to resist the urge to shove deeper into Selena's throat.
Not because he cared for her.
But because his mind wasn't seeing Selena anymore.
It was imagining Evadne.
The more Hades tried to shake it off, to remind himself it was Selena kneeling before him, not her, the harder it became to believe the lie.
His eyes were open, but he wasn't seeing Selena anymore.
He was seeing Evadne.
Those defiant, golden eyes. That wicked curve of her lips, taunting, unapologetic. The sharp tongue that lashed with elegance and cruelty. The unshakable fire in her that made him hate her... need her.
"Shit... Vee," he groaned, voice rough and low. The name slipped past his lips before he could stop it.
His hands moved without thought, one threading roughly through Selena's hair, the other guiding her head as he thrust deeper into her mouth.
He came.
Hard.
Without warning.
Selena choked in surprise, hands gripping his thighs as he spilled deep into her throat. His size, his force, the sheer volume, it overwhelmed her. She had no choice but to swallow it all, gasping for breath between swallows, tears finally slipping down her cheeks from the strain.
"Fuck!" Hades cursed harshly, collapsing back into the seat, chest heaving.
It was the most intense release he had ever felt. Not because of her, but because of who he imagined instead.
When his gaze landed back on Selena, he caught her quickly wiping the tears from her face, trying to hide them, trying not to break the rule.
No tears.
But Hades didn't even register her sadness anymore. His mind was screaming Selena, but his eyes... his eyes still saw Evadne.
The girl his parents had adopted him to marry.
The one he'd loathed for being the reason he existed as Hades Falcon.
The girl who shone brighter than him.
Fuck this, he thought savagely. He'd always been in control. Controlled his emotions. His image. His future.
But when it came to Evadne, his rage, his obsession, his desire, nothing was under control.
"Ahhh!" Selena yelped in shock as Hades suddenly lifted her off the floor and carried her to the bed.
"H-Hades!"
"Don't make a sound," he growled, eyes burning with fury. "Not. A. Word."
His voice was so cold it burned.
Selena swallowed her voice, nodding in fear. And at that, the last shred of her identity vanished from his eyes.
Now she was Evadne.
Hades dropped his lounge pants and crawled over her like a predator unleashed. He crushed his lips against hers, wild, bruising, hungry. He bit her lower lip hard enough to draw a startled gasp, then shoved his tongue in to deepen the kiss. His mouth devoured her like a starving man.
He kissed her neck. Bit her shoulder. Suckled on her collarbone.
Every move was rough, desperate. Nothing like the careful lover he had once tried to be for Cieryl.
No.
This was the version he always held back. The version he thought was too much. Too vulgar. Too wrong.
And yet now, with Evadne in his mind, he unleashed it all.
He worshipped her body with his mouth, tracing every inch with lips and teeth and tongue.
Then he dropped between her thighs and did the one thing Cieryl had complained to their friends that he never did.
He ate her.
With hunger.
With purpose.
His hands roamed elsewhere, never idle. Teasing, testing, tormenting her entire body while his tongue worked her relentlessly.
Selena clamped her hands over her mouth, desperate not to moan.
But her body betrayed her.
She was trembling. Her hips bucked against his face. Her core clenched. And when his tongue dipped just right…
She shattered.
Hard.
She came with a cry muffled by her own palms.
Hades lifted his head slowly, mouth glistening with her release. He licked his lips with a wicked smirk, savoring the taste.
Then, without warning, he climbed over her and positioned himself at her entrance.
There was no warning. No gentle coaxing.
With one brutal thrust, he took everything.
Her virginity. Her innocence.
The one thing she had held onto for Casadin.
Now it belonged to Hades.
Selena gasped sharply, her body stiffening, eyes glistening with pain and disbelief.
Tears fell freely now.
But Hades leaned down and whispered gently in her ear, his voice almost tender, almost loving.
"Shhhh… It'll feel good in a few moments, baby. I promise."
And then he began to move.
Slowly. Deeply.
A rhythm that betrayed how long he had imagined this, not with her, but with Evadne.
Every thrust, every stroke, every moan swallowed into the dark, twisted fantasy now consuming him whole.
From slow and gentle, Hades's rhythm turned urgent. Demanding.
His thrusts came harder, deeper, and Selena could barely keep up.
But as his body moved relentlessly against hers, the pain that once burned between her legs slowly dulled, melted away, until pleasure took its place.
Selena stopped thinking. She stopped questioning.
There was only feeling now.
The way he filled her, stretched her, owned her.
The way his tongue had worshipped her skin, the way his mouth branded her lips with bruising kisses.
The way his hands, hot, skilled, and firm, knew exactly where to touch, grip, possess.
And then there were his eyes.
The way they watched her… with tenderness one moment and obsessive hunger the next.
Their bodies fell into rhythm, a sinful, primal dance. She matched him move for move, moan for moan.
Her release crept up again, hot, rising, unbearable.
She was just about to scream his name when he beat her to it.
"Vee, baby, fuck!" he groaned, releasing deep inside her.
Selena's world froze.
He said it again. Vee.
Evadne.
She hadn't misheard it earlier. He wasn't calling her.
He wasn't seeing her.
And just when Selena thought it was over, Hades pulled away from her body briefly and leaned back against the headboard, his breathing heavy, his skin glistening with sweat.
He didn't even give her time to speak.
He tugged her forward again.
Pulled her onto his lap.
Straddled, bare and shaking, Selena stared at him in silent shock as he cupped her face and kissed her again, deep and possessive.
"Ride me, baby," he whispered roughly. "Just like you rode Casadin in class earlier."
Her mouth opened in stunned protest, but before she could utter a word, he already had her hips in his grip, guiding her down onto him again.
She gasped.
And then… she obeyed.
She rode him. Let him use her body. Let him take from her everything she had, because that's what she signed up for. Because she offered herself.
Even as he stared up at her, it was never her he was seeing.
It was Evadne.
And it didn't stop there.
He took her in every position imaginable. Bent her forward. Lifted her legs. Spun her around. Every position that was too obscene for words, every act Cieryl had once whispered she wished he would do, he did them all.
But not for Selena.
And each time he came, every time his mouth brushed her ear, or his teeth grazed her neck, he whispered Evadne's name like a sacred prayer.
Over and over again.
Until Selena's body could barely move. Until her legs shook. Until her throat was sore from holding back moans she swore she'd never make.
By the time Hades climaxed one final time inside her, it wasn't passion that remained.
It was emptiness.
He pulled out, stood, and walked into the guest room's bathroom without a word. He didn't glance at her. Didn't hold her. Didn't offer comfort.
Selena sat on the edge of the bed, numb, sore, hollow.
She wanted to cry.
But she couldn't.
Because he had told her he didn't want to see a single tear.
And now that he had calmed down, now that the fog of lust had lifted, she was certain he was seeing her again.
Not Evadne.
And she was right.
When Hades emerged from the bathroom, he was no longer the man who kissed her like a firestorm.
His eyes were cold. Unforgiving. Filled with contempt.
"I'll allow you to chase after Casadin, like you've always wanted," he said casually, as if he hadn't just touched her like she was the only woman alive. "I won't stop you. But I trust you understand what not to do, don't you?"
Selena nodded quietly, her heart cracking with the weight of his indifference.
"Good," he said, voice ice. "Because if you ever pull the same shit you did earlier, whether it's you or someone else behind it, I'll make sure you fall so far, you won't ever crawl back up from where you are now. And that includes your parents."
He grabbed his phone and the contract from the coffee table, his words slicing through the silence.
"Fix the bed. Lock the door when you leave. And make sure you don't get pregnant," he added with a mocking smile. "You'd be the only one suffering if that happens."
Then, without another glance, he left the guest room and returned to his private suite, slamming the door behind him.
And only then, when the silence returned, did Selena fall apart.
She sobbed into her hands, the pain spilling out of her in choked, soundless cries.
She felt used. Dirty. Like a rag discarded after serving its purpose.
And yet… she had no one to blame.
She had offered herself.
Even after Hades warned her he would use her.
Even after the contract laid it all out, every humiliating clause, every line that screamed you will be nothing but mine to use and play with.
She signed it anyway.
She signed away her pride, her dignity, her body.
For her family's name. Their status. Their survival.
And now… there was nothing left to hold.
Only shame. And silence.
