Chapter 15 - Sun Piercing Sword!

"We have already finished cleaning the library, respected Elder," Fatty Lambu replied.

The old man paused for a second and turned his head to observe the library.

As they said, the library was clean. Since it was the first day, Fatty Lambu had cleaned it with extra care.

"What cleaning? These two fellows are spoiling the library!" Suddenly, the young man whose intimate act was spoiled by Mo Han appeared before Elder Ping with a serious-face.

"Elder Ping, they're lying! These fellows were actually reading books without any authorization. Especially this fellow—he was staring at women like a pervert," the young man accused, pointing a finger at Mo Han's face.

"What? No… no, Elder! We cleaned every single corner of the library without missing anything. Even the wooden steps were cleaned thoroughly. You can inspect it directly," Fatty Lambu replied in a hurried tone.

The old elder stared at Mo Han and Fatty Lambu for a moment.

He really didn't find any flaws or reason to punish Mo Han or Lambu.

Just as he was about to let it go, another voice came from behind.

"Elder Ping, why are you even thinking? You must punish these useless outer court fellows? I am the witness. This fellow was actually staring at a woman from the inner court."

The person who came was none other than Ron Lee, the guy who had a verbal fight with Mo Han yesterday.

There was a smug smile on Ron Lee's face as he looked at Mo Han with contempt.

Mo Han didn't speak, as he believed the old elder was not an unreasonable person.

Elder Ping could have directly dismissed the matter, as the library was clearly clean and neat. But he didn't do it.

What Mo Han didn't know was… Elder Ping had a strange personality, with the temperament of a child. That's why he would never punish the lovebirds making out on the top stairs.

More and more disciples gathered to see what was happening now that Ron Lee had involved himself.

"Ron Lee, are you sure that you saw this fellow staring at a woman?" Elder Ping asked with a curious look.

"Yes, Elder. I saw it with my own eyes. You must punish this fellow severely. It's their first day, and yet they dared to do such unspeakable things," Ron Lee said, sounding like a righteous man.

"Hmmm… it seems I must punish this fellow to educate them properly," Elder Ping muttered, scratching his chin.

"No, Elder… please don't believe their words! This guy holds a grudge against Brother Han. The truth is in front of your eyes. Please spare us, just this once, as our first mistake," Lambu cried out, kneeling as tears flowed down his cheeks.

Contrary to Fatty Lambu, Mo Han stood with a straight face—without emotion or fear.

Many inner court disciples who had gathered were whispering among themselves, all recognizing Mo Han from the verbal fight with Ron Lee.

"This fellow is done for… Ron Lee won't leave him easily."

"That's why you should never talk back to an inner court disciple."

"I really wonder what Elder Ping will say now… If my guess is right, these two might need to kneel before the sect gates for three days."

As Lambu heard these words, his legs began to shake in fear.

"Little fellow, do you acknowledge your mistake?" Elder Ping finally asked Mo Han, staring into his eyes.

"No… My only mistake was reading the free manuals placed on the top stairs. Except for that, I didn't stare at any woman," Mo Han replied with a stern look.

"Ohhh… so you admit you made a mistake by reading the manuals without my permission. Very good… Now I know how to punish you," Elder Ping said with a strange smile.

In the next second, Elder Ping extended his hand. Immediately, a manual flew out from the 13th step.

"Here, take this. This manual contains the first three moves of the Sun Piercing Sword.

Many have failed to master this technique, as one must withstand high flame in the hand to execute the Sun Piercing Sword move.

You must learn at least one stage in three days as punishment. If you get burned while learning, nobody is responsible for your death," Elder Ping said while passing the manual, which bore the image of a bright sun.

Many people gasped upon hearing the punishment.

Normally, one needed a special formation to even access the manual of Sun Piercing Sword—yet Elder Ping had casually handed it to an outer court disciple!

Ron Lee also felt satisfied with the result.

He was sure Mo Han would fail and die trying to learn the Sun Piercing Sword, as many inner court disciples had already failed at it.

Without complaining or saying a word, Mo Han received the manual from Elder Ping with a serious expression.

After handing over the manual, Elder Ping directly left.

He completely ignored the presence of Fatty Lambu, who was still kneeling on the ground.

Fatty couldn't believe he was spared. But instead of happiness, worry filled his face.

"Brother Han… don't try to cultivate that Sun Piercing Sword technique. You can take another punishment. We'll plead with the Elder again," Fatty Lambu said in a concerned tone.

"No need… It's actually a blessing in disguise. As outer court disciples, we rarely get a powerful cultivation manual. But now, I hold one of the most powerful. So let's not complain," Mo Han said as he stared at Ron Lee, who was smiling like he had won a war.

"Such brave words. You idiot… you don't know the power of the Sun Piercing Sword technique. The heat will consume you entirely. And don't worry… I'll ask my pet fox to feed on you, so your body doesn't go to waste," Ron Lee mocked, in front of all the spectators.

Mo Han stared at Ron Lee seriously.

"Remember my words… one day, you will become the victim of this Sun Piercing Sword technique. That day, I'll make you kneel before me like a beggar," Mo Han said, insulting Ron Lee again in front of everyone.

Ron Lee raised his fist in anger but couldn't take a step forward—because Elder Ping was watching from a distance.

Ron Lee left after showing a threatening finger.
