Chapter 15 - Silences That Burn

A new school day was beginning, but the atmosphere felt different. Keita and Yuzuki's glances had grown heavier, more loaded—like secrets whispered only through their eyes. There was no room left for questions. They were there, for each other, even if no one else knew... yet.

Classes dragged on slowly. His eyes kept searching for Yuzuki, and every time, she would turn her head at the exact moment he looked at her. It was a dance without steps, but with hearts beating in sync. Every fleeting smile, every subtle twitch of the eyes said more than any word could.

After the final bell rang, the hallways began to empty. But Yuzuki didn't leave. She was waiting. And when she saw him walking alone through the corridor in the old wing, she gently took his hand.

— Come with me... just for a bit, she said, without looking directly at him.

Keita followed her without a word. They descended the side staircase, the one rarely used. In a forgotten corner of the old building, there was a small room with frosted glass that looked out onto the inner courtyard.

Yuzuki closed the door slowly. The silence was thick. Their eyes met—and for the first time, they didn't hold back.

They moved closer... until there was no space left between them. It was a long, deep kiss, unhurried—not out of curiosity, but from desire stored in every look they had shared over the past days. Their hands found each other gently, the touches hesitant at first, then more confident. Their bodies instinctively drew closer, breaths growing heavier.

And then... words were no longer needed. Everything was said in that heavy silence, in the inner tremble, in the gestures—delicate, yet intense. A moment that needed no lights, no music, no audience.

Meanwhile, Riko, Ako, and Miyu were looking for Keita. They seemed agitated, each for her own reason.

— Where's Keita? He didn't come out with us today! — Ako said suspiciously.

— He disappeared right after class, Riko noted, activating her so-called "radar."

— Maybe he's in the bathroom? — Miyu asked, as naïvely as ever.

Riko suddenly stopped and raised an eyebrow.

— No... he's in the old part of the school. Something's going on there!

They reached the door of that room. They stopped. Through the fogged-up glass, the silhouettes were just shadows. The outline of two bodies close together... and a kiss that seemed never-ending.

— So... I was right, Riko whispered with an ironic smile.

— Wow... Ako muttered, almost jealous.

— Uhh what's happening? — Miyu asked softly, confused.

No one said anything else. They left them there—no knocking, no interruptions. They understood. Something real had bloomed between Keita and Yuzuki.

And maybe it wasn't just glances anymore. Maybe, finally... it had become something more.
