Covered in runes. Four symbols glowed—matching each of their crystals.
"This is it," Mizu said.
Sayos stepped forward. "Whatever's in there… it's been waiting for us."
Honkai narrowed his eyes. "Or watching us."
Rika raised her hand—and her flame.
"Then let's not keep it waiting."
They placed their hands on the door.
It opened.
Wind howled behind it.
The next room was dark—but not empty.
In the center—
A figure. Waiting. Sitting.
Its eyes opened.
And smiled.
