[Third POV]
A bald orc man holding a huge shield taking the role of a tank.
A human man with dark brown hair holding a spear taking the role of a spearman.
An elf man with black hair holding two longswords taking the role of a dual sword wielder.
An orc woman with short black hair holding a great hammer taking the role of a breaker.
A blonde demoness with tied hair holding 2 curved daggers taking the role of an assassin.
A demoness with purple hair holding a long bow taking the role of an archer.
A human woman with red hair holding a magical staff taking the role of a mage.
And a dwarf man and woman both with black hair standing in the back holding a back full of items taking the role of supporters.
That was the formation of team 3. If there was something they needed it would be a healer.
Am well… There was a reason why they were only 9.
In front of them the darkness kept vanishing slowly.
Eventually, the flower spider appeared again.
"KwKwKwak!"
The spider glanced at them instantly and started standing up.
*BOOM!BOOM!*
All of a sudden, the archer shot an exploding arrow directly on the spider's head while the mage cast a huge flaming boulder that hit the red flower.
Small cracks appeared on the spider face and many tentacles died to protect the flower.
For a moment, the spider was dazed by the sudden attack.
"ROAAAR!"
The flower roared in anger. The spider's eyes turned red in furiousness.
How could those lowly creatures even dare to touch it?
The flower mouth opened wide. The mana started gathering in the middle before shooting a beam of ice.
The bald orc stood in the middle. His body and shield turned into solid bronze before connecting with the beam.
"Argh!"
The orc groaned as the bream pushed him back and froze both his shield and hands.
*Crack!*
His shield suddenly broke into ice pieces and his hands were barely holding themselves, but he didn't look afraid.
"It's confirmed! Drink ice resistance potions and give me another shield!" He shouted to his team members who nodded together.
The assassin demoness helped him to drink ice resistance and healing potion while the male dwarf threw him another shield.
*TakTakTakTak!*
The spider started charging forward, deciding to rip them apart with its legs.
*BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!*
Many attacks landed on it, filling its way with dead tentacles and fragments of its brown shell.
The spider kept shooting ice attacks like icicles and spikes but they either dodged or blocked them all.
But eventually, the spider reached them.
It charged directly to the bald orc, but he raised his shield instantly.
*BAM!*
The spider head and fangs connected with the shield and started pushing the orc backward. Its tentacles were getting closer to the orc.
The orc removed his eye patch, revealing a dark hollow eye. Once the spider saw it, the spider froze instantly.
"Now!" The orc shouted as he used his shield to punch the spider.
The elf with 2 swords instantly jumped to the flower. He started slashing and cutting it as the wind danced around him.
The great hammer orc fell on the spider's head with crushing strikes! Her hammer covered with hard stones as the spider's black exoskeleton started revealing slowly under its brown shell
The spearman rushed to the spider's stomach. His spear crackled with lightning as he stabbed the spider's stomach again and again.
The assassin demoness danced around the flower with flames covering her body, killing as many tentacles as she could with her daggers and magic.
The mage and the archer started attacking the spider's legs, trying to break them but nothing worked.
The male dwarf threw egg bombs inside the flower's mouth which exploded inside breaking its sharp teeth.
The female dwarf started ripping off many scrolls, unleashing random magical attacks to the flower's head.
For 5 seconds, the spider stood in its place — taking all their attacks without resistance.
But suddenly, the spider got out of its daze and started moving again.
All the members of team 3 looked at the spider with disbelief — as if it wasn't supposed to move this fast.
"RUN!" The archer demoness shouted loudly, but it was too late…
"ROAAAAR!"
The flower roar echoed even outside the mansion, Followed by a shockwave of pure mana that threw team 3 members away.
But one of them had a different situation…
The spearman that was under the spider got crushed by the shockwave force instead of flying away.
"Caesar NO!" the assassin demoness screamed as she rushed to save him…
But she was too late.
*BAM!*
The spider lowered his body instantly, crushing the spearman under it.
But the spider wasn't satisfied yet.
*BAM!*
*BAM!*
*BAM!!*
The spearman turned into a dough of flesh, his former self became unrecognisable.
A waterfall of tears fell from the assassin's demoness' eyes, while the others gritted their teeth.
The assassin demoness instantly lunged towards the spider, her emotions blinding her logic and decisions.
The spider raised 2 of its legs and swung them down towards her. But before it could land on her, the mage threw a ball of stone and hit her pushing her away.
"Don't attack blindly. We will take revenge together!" The man with 2 swords shouted at her, bringing her back to her mind.
They gathered together and got ready for the second round.
"KwKwKwak!"
The spider spider climbed the wall. They shot multiple attacks at it but it didn't fall.
Eventually, it stood on the roof directly above them.
Again, the mana started gathering at the flower.
"RUN!"
Tenths of huge ice spikes fell on them, they tried to dodge but not all of them were lucky.
The male dwarf watched with wide eyes as the female dwarf got pierced by multiple spikes.
He didn't cry, didn't scream.
He only froze in his place, unable to believe the scene in front of him.
"E-eve…"
*BOOM!*
All of a sudden, the spider fell from the sky, landing on the archer and killing her instantly.
*Crack!*
The hammer orc lunged at the spider, her eyes turning white from anger and her hammer glowing brightly, and with all her power — she smashed the head of the spider!
The force behind the hit spread across the spider shell, breaking it completely!
But that attack drained all her mental power, leaving her completely without defense.
Taking the opportunity, the spider swung its leg despite its miserable state and her in half.
But it didn't have time to rest.
Both the sword user and the assassin started attacking it together, their weapons cutting through its exoskeleton and reaching its flesh.
The spider tried to attack them using its leg but the tank came out of nowhere and blocked it.
It tried to use its tentacles but tens of flaming spears stopped them.
The mage was barely alive, missing both her legs and an arm with a hole in her stomach, but she was still casting spells.
"KWAARK!"
The spider screamed helplessly, unable to stop them.
"I will end it now!" The sword user shouted as he held a sword with both his hands and raised it to the sky.
The tank and the assassin moved backward instantly.
The elf's sword glowed brightly with green light. He swung his sword with a vertical slash that unleashed a wide wind blade.
In the blink of an eye, the wind blade cut the spider's head and one of its legs without resistance.
*Thud!*
The spider's body fell lifelessly on the ground, bleeding aggressively from everywhere.
"Healing potion… quickly!" The sword user shouted as they rushed towards the mage.
The assassin pulled out a healing potion and tried to make the mage drink it, but…
They were too late.
Her heart stopped beating, her body was resting lifelessly on the sword user lab, unmoving by their shouts and potions.
They finally gave up and sat there silently.
The male dwarf was still frozen in his place while looking at the female dwarf corpse.
"It's alive!"
Suddenly, they heard a voice coming from someone at the gate of the mansion.
He was a kid with brown hair and grey eyes, screaming at them with words that made them shake.
"It's alive!"
"Turn around!"
"Its soul is still there."
Then the sword user noticed something terrifying.
He didn't get rewards for killing the spider.
Additionally, the barrier was still there!
They instantly grabbed their weapons tightly and turned around.
But what they saw shook them to the core.
Red, bloody veins started spreading over the entire spider's body.
The severed spider's leg started growing again, and multiple thinner secondary legs started growing on its back.
The huge flower bursted wide open, revealing a huge, glowing, crimson orb inside it. Once it appeared, more tentacles started rising out of the flower.
In the place of the severed head, 2 red eyes and a mouth filled with sharp teeth appeared.
All the cuts and injuries on the spider recovered. It looked at them with a smile as if mocking all their efforts.
*Swish!*
The spider suddenly jumped and landed on the demoness, cutting her in half using its sharp legs.
The bald orc hit its leg using his shield, surprisingly, the hit broke its leg, but it recovered after a moment.
The monster used its tentacles to pierce both the orc and the sword user, killing them instantly.
Then its eyes landed on the dwarf.
The dwarf's eyes were also fixed on the monster.
The monster started moving closer and closer to him.
With a hollow laugh, he opened his bag and started filling his mouth with the egg bombs.
The monster finally stood in front of the dwarf.
With one bite, it started chewing the upper half of the dwarf.
*BOOM!*
The eggs exploded inside the monster's mouth — making it scream in pain and anger.
But it still didn't die.
The darkness started swallowing the mansion, hiding the massacre that just happened.
Everyone stared at the result of the fight, unable to close their eyes from shock.
Team 3… has lost.
