Stella agreed readily, but her gaze kept drifting toward Sylvia Byrne ahead, filled with obvious hatred. She was determined not to let this woman have an easy time.
Crystal Foster was excited about the auction, though she didn't have anything particular in mind that she wanted. Martin Riley and Marvin Mitchell were seated nearby, chatting about other matters.
Suddenly, a commotion erupted behind them. Crystal instinctively turned to look and saw Stella glancing at her with a mocking expression.
"Let me tell you, that Sylvia Byrne is shameless. The only reason she married Martin Riley was because she got pregnant with his child. But do you know how she got pregnant? She drugged Martin Riley!"
Hyland Riley had gone to the restroom, leaving Crystal alone in her seat. The women behind her were enthusiastically discussing Sylvia, claiming she and Martin were a match made in heaven.
