"It's everywhere, Nico."
Nico's brows furrowed. "What is?"
The Don's stare was piercing now.
"They're saying you're not potent."
Nico blinked, stunned. "What?"
"They're questioning your bloodline. Your strength. Your ability to lead. They think you're all bark and no legacy."
Nico's jaw clenched. "That's bullshit."
The Don didn't flinch. "Then prove it."
Nico narrowed his eyes.
The Don walked over to a cabinet, pulled out a thin folder, and tossed it on the desk in front of him.
Nico didn't touch it. "What is this?"
"Your wedding papers," the Don said simply. "It's done."
Nico's heart dropped.
"To Raven," the Don added.
Nico stood up, voice sharp. "You did what?!"
"You want to shut them up?" the Don snapped back. "You want the world to stop doubting you? Then marry her. Give them an heir. End the rumors. Remind everyone that a Luciano doesn't just lead… he dominates."
Nico stared at the folder, breath tight in his chest.
The door creaked open.
Raven stepped in.
