Kenthelion ordered Admiral Speyer to head for Planet Ghazgog Prime. Once the evacuation was complete, the full-scale assault operation would begin.
He also deployed the Krieg regiments to bear the brunt of the initial assault. For Kenthelion, the more Krieg troops involved, the better.
In terms of combat strategy, Krieg commanders believe that victory in war is achieved through the ruthless annihilation of superior forces. Their doctrine favors grueling, attritional warfare, and they are willing to pay a far higher cost in lives than their enemies to secure victory. To them, the key to any battle lies in time and the willingness to sacrifice personnel.
That's precisely why Kenthelion favored them. The battle on Ghazgog Prime would undoubtedly be an exhausting war, and the Kriegers were unquestionably the most reliable force to handle such brutal conditions.
"Deploy the Armageddon Iron Legion as well. I don't believe those Orcs can kill them," Kenthelion added sharply.
At that moment, Admiral Speyer's fleet and portions of the Imperium Caelestis' ground reserve forces had already begun mobilizing toward Ghazgog Prime, determined to stop the Orcs from claiming the planet as their stronghold.
Simultaneously, Kenthelion had purchased a portion of the Mall System to construct a planetary escort fleet for defense.
"Orcs, fine then… let's have some fun," Kenthelion muttered with a cold smile.
He then issued his final order:
"Send them to Planet Ghazgog Prime. It's time for humanity to declare its stance—before the entire universe."
_____
Several Weeks Later
Humanity had yet to respond.
Brok'Mer was furious. He believed the humans were ignoring him—and in the Outer Rim, no one ignored Brok'Mer without consequence.
"Kill all the human slaves!" he roared.
Click!
Suddenly, a blue holographic screen flickered into existence before Brok'Mer. Kenthelion appeared at the center of it.
"Human," Brok'Mer sneered, "have you finally decided to surrender to us?"
Kenthelion didn't speak. His back was turned to the screen.
Behind him yawned a massive pit—one among countless others scattered across the desolate wasteland. Inside, thousands of Brok'Mor Empire orcs writhed in unbearable agony, their bodies pierced by jagged iron spikes or crushed beneath the weight of colossal boulders. The stench of blood and anguish hung thick in the air. At the edge of the pit, another orc was violently shoved forward, his screams echoing through the void as he tumbled down into the living grave.
Kenthelion sat calmly atop a cliff, overseeing the scene like a silent executioner.
He gave a simple command.
"Fuel."
Tanks of fuel were dumped into the pits. Dozens of Astra Militarum soldiers stepped forward, each holding a torch. Without hesitation, they cast their torches into the abyss.
In seconds, roaring flames engulfed the pits. The fire blazed bright, illuminating Kenthelion's face in an eerie glow. His expression remained calm—merciless, inhuman. The sheer cruelty made even Brok'Mer flinch.
As the screams faded and the fire began to die out, Kenthelion gave another order.
"Bury the survivors."
The Astra Militarum complied, shoveling dirt and waste into the pits, smothering the few orcs still clinging to life beneath the burning rubble and filth.
(Note: This scene is inspired by the manga Kingdom (キングダム), featuring General Bai Qi (白起). I've slightly modified it to fit my story. I think it's a cool and brutal method to torture aliens.)
"Humans, you must think that killing so many people will make me afraid, right?"
Kenthelion stared at Brok'Mer with a disdainful look, then calmly closed the communication channel.
"You damned humans, kill them all!" Brok'Mer shouted in a furious rage.
But Brok'Mer did not realize that 700,000 humans had already been rescued. The rest were only the elderly and fathers who chose to stay behind, willingly sacrificing themselves so that their children and wives could escape safely. They stood firm on that planet to ensure the evacuation operation could proceed smoothly.
Despite facing death, they smiled as they overheard the conversation between the two leaders — a sense of relief shining from their hearts amid the looming danger.
Brok'Mer and his forces remained unaware of this, blinded by their burning anger, even after witnessing that communication.
The emperor of the Brok'Mor Empire's forces was about to arrive at Zul'kar.
Kenthelion nodded and ordered his troops to proceed according to plan. Why was he doing all this to Brok'Mor? Simply because he wanted to send a clear message. Whether they wanted to kill each other or not, if they chose to kill, they would have to face the consequences.
After all matters were settled, Kenthelion returned to the palace with the women and began playing with Angela. After all, Jim Raynor was now guarding Zul'kar, so Kenthelion could finally relax and start enjoying his time in Terra Aeterna.
