Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 : "Fleets"

Has the system unlocked the Primarch characters or Master Chief yet?

Of course, the Host already has them, but recruiting them requires more war points.

Kenthelion grew even more excited upon hearing this. Now, he needs key leaders like Roboute Guilliman and Lorgar Aurelian, whose operational capabilities are among the best.

------

"We will sacrifice! We will fall! But in the end—victory shall belong to humanity!"

"There is only one outcome to this war! Either humanity retreats from the galaxy, reduced to cowards and slaves—

Or humanity shall rise again from the ashes, burn brighter than a thousand suns, and reclaim its rightful place among the stars!"

"We begin again today, at the peak of the star ocean! We march not just for land, not just for glory—

But for the future of our species! For every man, woman, and child who dreams of freedom!"

"And if I fall in this war... if I am the first to die—then wrap my body in the banner of Imperium Caelestis!"

"Let it fly high over my tomb, and let it remind the galaxy that even in death... I serve humanity!"

"Let humanity live on!"

The people of the Imperium Caelestis listened in awe. Then, like thunder rolling across a battlefield, they roared:

"Long live the Emperor! Long live humanity!"

Soldiers raised their arms in the sacred Aquila salute. From the trenches to the warships, voices shouted in unity.

The red-robed priests of the Mechanicus bowed their heads, lifting their sacred gear-symbol high in silent reverence.

Kenthelion's eyes burned with purpose. He pointed toward the stars.

"We have one final destination—our ancient homeland!"

A massive image of a planet appeared behind him, floating like a memory on fire.

"That sacred place shall never again be defiled by those filthy Orcs!"

"This I swear upon my name, my throne, and the blood of all who died for mankind!"

Several months later...

"All fleets, prepare yourselves! Enemy fleet spotted on the right flank!"

The combined forces of Admiral Speyer's fleet and Jim Raynor's fleet began advancing toward the capital of the Brok'Mor Empire. As they pushed forward, they naturally encountered a massive Orc armada blocking their path.

"Disperse and engage the enemy!"

Admiral Speyer calmly led his warships, his gaze fixed on the Orc vessels drifting in space ahead.

These Orc ships floated in space in a wildly unscientific manner—they came in various shapes and sizes, resembling drifting piles of cosmic debris. Strangely, they managed to fly through the vacuum of space.

Hidden among this 'debris' were hundreds of artillery batteries. Their true strength was unclear, and no one dared to open fire first.

The hidden weapons of the Orc armada soon roared to life, signaling the start of battle. Countless projectiles rained down toward Speyer's fleet.

"Prepare to evade! Activate the void shields!"

Speyer's calm but firm command echoed through the fleet.

"Report! Commander Horner of Admiral Speyer's fleet is under attack!"

"Close the firing range! Ready to strike!"

Matt Horner led the second battle fleet with his characteristic precision and decisiveness. Meanwhile, Jim Raynor, as the supreme commander, maintained overall control of the operation.

The Orc fleet began to be encircled in a well-executed pincer strategy. On one side, Admiral Speyer's fleet drew the enemy's attention with a direct assault from the front lines.

In terms of numbers, the Orc armada held an absolute advantage. However, the gap in weaponry and technology was vast.

Countless Orc warships surged forward, charging toward the first fleet led by Admiral Speyer. The macro cannons on the warships immediately roared to life, firing powerful volleys in response. The countless attacking Orc ships exploded into dazzling fireworks across the galaxy.

If Deidara from Naruto were to see this, he would call it art—because art is an explosion.

A small number of Orcs rushed out from their warships. However, they were still powerless—hundreds of meters of armored hull were no joke.

A small horde of Orcs began storming into the cabins, only to be met by the Imperial Caelestis Marines who had been standing ready.

The Imperial Navy sergeants fought in a fierce and bloody battle. The Orcs roared wildly through the tight corridors, but every soldier stood firm at their post, defending the ship with unwavering resolve.

At the same time, light spears began striking the Orc warships.

The principle of the light spear weapon is to emit highly concentrated beams of powerful energy. Its efficiency is enhanced by combining multiple smaller emitters into a single focused beam, allowing the weapon to pierce through enemy hulls regardless of their armor thickness.

This light spear technology was inspired by Protoss warships and has now been fully integrated into the battleships of the Imperium Caelestis.

Countless unfortunate Orcs were reduced to ash under the assault of the light spears. Yet, a few still managed to escape...
