Then, Kenthelion stood before the representatives of the United Earth Government and delivered his announcement with a calm yet overwhelming presence.
"Everyone, I am here to inform you that the Imperium Caelestis will resolve the problem of your dying sun… by destroying it."
"What?! Destroy the sun?!"
The room fell into chaos. One representative's chair screeched as he stood in panic, another clutched his chest, his face pale. Murmurs rose like a tidal wave.
"Is this a joke? Are we hearing this right?"
"They're going to blow up the sun?! That's insane!"
None of them had ever imagined such a brutal, direct solution. Their minds had never even dared to entertain the thought.
One of the more composed representatives finally gathered his courage to ask, "But… once the sun is destroyed, Earth will freeze instantly! Humanity will turn into popsicles, gravity will shift, the atmosphere will collapse, magnetic fields will destabilize—everything will spiral out of control!"
At that moment, Kylo Ren stepped forward beside Kenthelion, his imposing black helmet catching the light ominously. A cold, suffocating aura swept through the room. Several representatives instinctively leaned back in their seats, struggling to breathe under the sheer pressure of his presence.
"Are you underestimating the technology of the Imperium Caelestis?" Kylo Ren's voice echoed, deep and merciless.
"We will deploy a temporary planetary shield around Earth—one powered by quantum-grade Dyson reactors. It will simulate solar radiation, maintain atmospheric pressure, and stabilize your magnetosphere for a limited time. Once the artificial sun is activated, the shield will be removed."
Meanwhile, everyone agreed with Kenthelion's declaration.
The Tech-Priests immediately began constructing a planetary shield launcher for Blue Star, equipped with a quantum-class Dyson reactor.
To the people of Blue Star, such a device might take centuries to comprehend.
But to the Imperium Caelestis—whose scientists came from every major human faction across the multiverse: Warhammer, Star Wars, StarCraft, HALO, Gundam, Mass Effect, Stellaris—this was simply another planetary tool, long understood and catalogued.
The construction wasn't even assigned to their top scientists—just ordinary researchers and fresh graduates.
"Since there are no objections, our fleet will begin preparations immediately. You have 168 hours to get ready. Once that time ends, our ships will fire," Kenthelion announced calmly.
Without waiting for a reply, he turned and left the UEG conference hall, flanked by his red honor guards, Kylo Ren, and the Knights of Ren.
"Send word to Apocalypse-class, Colossus, Gloriana, Emperor-class, and all other assigned warships. The fleet from Terra Aeterna will be fully deployed here. All ships must be prepared to unleash a planetary-scale salvo on the sun."
Back in Terra Aeterna, General Wallfield, upon hearing the grand operation to blow up the sun, immediately volunteered.
He and Alexis Stukov settled the matter of command in the most ancient and sacred way possible: a rock-paper-scissors match.
After all, not many could resist the temptation of the bright red launch button installed on every flagship. Especially not General Wallfield—or the other generals of the Imperium Caelestis.
