Episode 76: "Burning in the Blood"
---
The silence after Pandora's collapse was deafening.
Kara stood still, heart thundering like a war drum. The clone's body lay at her feet — not twitching, not breathing. Just... still.
But it didn't feel like victory.
Adrian staggered toward her, one hand pressed to the cut on his side. "She moved like you. Fought like you."
"She was me," Kara whispered. "The part of me I was afraid of. Cold. Empty."
Tessa crouched beside Pandora, running a scanner over the body. "DNA match: 100%. They copied everything—down to your neural signature."
"She was the prototype," Ronan said, his voice grim. "Which means Selene has more in the works. Better ones."
Kara's jaw clenched. "No more running."

Inside the Lazarus Compound
Selene slammed her fist against the console, causing sparks to erupt from the overloaded circuits.
"She was supposed to win!" she screamed, spinning toward Vane. "We stripped her humanity for a reason!"
Dr. Vane's expression was unreadable as he examined the data feed. "Kara's emotional resilience is... evolving. She's not just surviving trauma — she's weaponizing it."
Selene's eyes narrowed. "Then we turn up the heat."
She walked to a sealed chamber. Inside, rows of pods lined the walls. Inside each pod — more versions of Kara. Unawakened. Sleeping. Waiting.
"Initiate Phase Omega," Selene ordered. "Let's burn the world with her face."

The Fire Within
Back at the safehouse, Kara sat before a mirror, studying her reflection. Not for vanity — for certainty. For truth.
She pressed her palm to the glass.
"Who am I if I was made in a lab?" she asked softly.
Adrian appeared behind her. "You're not a mistake, Kara. You're a miracle."
She turned, her voice shaky. "They tried to erase my soul. Replace it. But I'm still here. Why?"
"Because you were never just code. You were heart. You chose to care, even when it hurt."
Their eyes met.
And for the first time, she didn't flinch from the feeling swelling between them.
He leaned in, gently, lips hovering just above hers.
Then Ronan barged in, panting. "We've got a problem."

A Glimpse of the End
He tossed a data pad on the table. The screen showed satellite images — Lazarus movement. Dozens of armed trucks. Supply convoys.
"Selene's building an army," he said. "And she's sending it to the city."
Tessa swore under her breath. "Why now?"
"Because she thinks Kara will run," Ronan replied. "She's betting on fear."
Kara stood, her voice iron.
"Then let's bet on fury."
She walked to the gear rack, pulling on her combat suit.
"This time, I don't just want answers. I want justice."

Far Away, in the Shadows
Deep beneath Lazarus HQ, a secret chamber pulsed with strange energy. One of the clones — different from the others — stirred.
Her eyes snapped open, glowing gold.
But she didn't speak.
She only smiled.

To be continued…
🔥 More than a memory. More than a weapon. She is the storm now.
