Edward remain silent because he thought it keeping it secret might be his leverage to get out of this situation. However, he underestimated Glenn too much.
"Nope? Not telling? The hardway it is then."
"Wai—"
Edward widen his eyes as he prepare to negotiate but he didn't expect Glenn to be decisive, pulling the trigger without hesitation.
Bang!
Edward's head burst out like water melon as his body fall unto the ground.
The woman on the ground screamed once more but she cried more in anguish when she saw Edward's body fall.
Glenn on the other hand left her since he poses no threat and he can easily kill her if she tries to do something funny.
However, when he turned around trying to find the secret door in the room with his observation haki, he heard another gun shot from his back.
It turned out that the woman who was called Locke, was obsessed with Edward and seeing him die before her eyes, she no longer has the will to live.
She grabbed the gun from a fallen bodyguard, pointed the barrel inside her mouth and pulled the trigger. She committed suicide accompanying her boss even in death.
Seeing her dead, Glenn couldn't help but sigh and said, "Tsk, what a shame, another victim of love. Is he worth it?"
He checked his Quest log and found the completed quest with a reward of 10,000 points.

He checked his points that turned to 34,889 points which a step closer to his goal. By his estimate, he will be able to buy Basic Armament Haki February next year.
He turned his attention back to the situation. He walk around the room destroying the locks of the cage before freeing the people inside. Even the animals were set free. With the help of his skill 'Voice of all things', he was able to communicate with them and let them go freely.
After that, he concentrated his senses with observation haki. He walk around with his eyes close until he heard a faint sound coming from the direction of back wall. It seems that there's a secret door hidden inside.
He took a step back before kicked with all his might producing air blades.
Boom!
Once the dust settles in, Glenn saw a corridor leading to another room without any door.
With his bare hands, he yanked the destroyed metal wall completely giving him access to the corridor. Even though it's dark, he knew the room was filled with more people locked in cages. And the reason why they are locked in here is because they are mutants.
Without any hesitation, he broke the locks of every cage before he declared they are free.
"Go ahead, I've already dealt the people outside. Escape and hide carefully or else, someone will lock you up once again. Wether you live or die is now up to your own luck."
After saying his piece, he took out a cigarette from his inner pocket and light it up, calmly standing there.
At first no one made a move, until a mutant girl with purple skin gather up her courage and opened the door of her cage.
"Go on. You have a few minutes at most before the cops arrive."
The girl quickly came out and exited the place leaving everyone behind. After seeing her successfully escape, another followed and it continues for a few minutes before all of them scramble towards the exit.
After almost everyone was gone, he felt a sudden tugged from the hem of his suit. He looked down only to find a little girl with messy blond hair looking at him.
"Are you not following them?"
The little girl didn't answer him. Instead she pointed at something at the top of the cage.
'Hmm?'
Glenn looked up to where she was pointing and saw a stuffed animal.
"You want that toy?" Glenn asked and she responded with a nod.
He reached out and took it before examining the doll. He find it familiar but couldn't remember exactly where he saw it.
After checking and making sure it's a normal doll, he handed it over to the little girl.
"Here, don't lose it, okay?" Glenn said while snuffed out his cigarette considering there's a child beside him.
The little girl happily hugged it with one hand before reaching out again to hold unto the hem of his suit.
Glenn thought she would run to the exit after getting her stuffed toy but he was stunned to see her cling into his clothes.
"Hey, do you have anywhere else to go? Tsk, why are you even here anyway?"
The little girl still didn't respond. She just kept on staring at him.
"Hey, be a nice little girl and let go okay?"
"..."
"You're going to tear it out, this is expensive you know? Aghhhh why are you not letting go?"
"..."
"Don't tell me you wanna come with me? There's no way it's going to happen, do you here me?"
A few moments later, Glenn walked out of the building with a little girl in tow who was still clinging on his pants.
"Tsk, so annoying. Just don't complain later, brat. I didn't kidnapped you, okay? You followed."
"..."
Glenn could only sigh in defeat. When they are already few blocks away from the Edward's base, he stopped and bend down to talk to the little girl.
"Don't you at least have a name? Come on, give me something."
The little girl looked at him for a moment before finally responding.
"Yana."
"Huh? Thank god, I thought you were a mute. Are you really sure you wanna come with me? Or should I send you to foster home?"
Yana shook her head fiercely. She was about to cry when Glenn stopped her.
"Okay okay, geez! Stop guilt tripping me. You better not regret it. If you wanna come with me, be obedient okay?"
Yana nodded and she cling closer to him.
"Can you leave my pants alone? Hold my hand pinky instead. Let's go, my car is over there."
Yana hold his finger tightly not taking her eyes on him in case he decided to abandon her.
When they arrived at his car, Glenn switched the alarm off and opened the door for Yana to get in. She obediently went inside as she sat there still staring closely at Glenn as if she was afraid to run any moment.
"Okay, stop staring at me like that. I'm not gonna run, okay? You are creeping me out." Glenn rolled his eyes and closed the car's door. He went over to the other side before opening the door and he sat the driver's seat.
He started the engine and took a deep breath before muttering to himself.
"What in the hell have I gotten myself into?"
A few moments later, they are already in a highway going back towards his penthouse apartment.

Back at Edward's based, a black jet shimmered into existence from the night sky. It slowly descended before opening a hatch where a group of people emerge.
"How odd, it's strangely quiet."
A man with red sunglasses said after he observed the surrounding.
"We can see that, bub. No need to state the obvious." Logan snickered.
"Are you sure it's the right place?" A black woman with white hair asked.
"Yes, Professor said it should be around here." Jean confirmed while assessing the situation.
"I smell blood in that restaurant." Logan said while sniffing the air.
"Let's go check things out."
When their group went inside the restaurant, they found no one inside but the sign outside says it still open.
A few moments later, they eventually found the secret door and was shocked to find dead bodies on the floor.
"Oh no, it seems we're already too late."

On the other hand, Glenn in the car was trying to establish some connection towards this little girl he rescued.
"So what's your story, huh? Yana. How old are you anyway?"
"Six."
"Not gonna tell me how you ended up in that shit hole?"
"What is shit hole?"
"Ahem, you misheard. I mean, how did you ended up at that place."
"Don't know."
"Do you still have parents?"
Yana shook her head.
"What about siblings?"
"..."
He looked beside him and saw her sleeping. It seems that today's event made her exhausted. Glenn sighed in defeat and decided to let her rest. Either way, he had this feeling that he wouldn't be able to get rid of her anytime soon. She might even ended up in his custody.
'Well, the house is pretty empty anyways. It might liven up a bit with her staying. A little sister doesn't sound so bad..I think.'
A few minutes later, they finally arrived at the penthouse. He carried the sleeping Yana in his arms and went up to the lobby.
"Good evening, Mr. Glenn. Do you need help?" Brian greeted and asked turning his eyes to the dirty little girl in Glenn's arms.
"Oh no... Hmmm actually, I could use some help. Can you send someone up to help me bath this little critter. Found her abandoned so I took her in."
"Certainly, Sir. I'll send someone up right away."
"Thank you, Brian."
Glenn took Yana towards the elevator and went up after scanning his access card.
Arriving at his penthouse, he put down the little girl at the sofa and quickly went on his room to change his clothes.
Then he heard the ding of the elevator at the hallway and knew it was the female staff who will be helping him clean Yana.
After changing, he went to the living room to wake her up.
"Come on, Yana. No need to pretend asleep. Get up so you could clean up. After that, we'll have some supper and sleep right after."
Yana opened her eyes and looked him but didn't say anything. But Glenn noticed she still holding her stuffed toy tightly.
"Let me have him for a while so he won't get wet, okay? I'll take care of him while you bath."
Yana reluctantly gave her stuffed toy to Glenn. Seeing how important it is for her, he held the stuffed toy carefully.
Then the female staff ushered her towards the bathroom to take a bath.
When Yana and the female staff exited the bathroom, the little girl was wearing one of his oversized t-shirt. With the dirt and grime removed from her face and hair, she now looked cute and delicate. It's as if she was the daughter of royal bloodline. Blond straight hair, blue eyes and white smooth skin.
Glenn thanked the female staff before giving her a generous tip. Then Glenn and Yana sat at the sofa.
"Here..told you he's in good hands." Glenn gave her back her stuffed toy which she grabbed from his hand.
"You can call me Glenn by the way. From now on, this is where you will be staying. Are you hungry?"
Yana nodded while checking if her stuffed toy as if he's done something bad to it.
"I didn't do anything to it. Stay there, I'll just grab something to eat from the fridge."
When Glenn stood up and headed down towards the kitchen, Yana followed him like a shadow.
"Geez, I'm not going anywhere."
Glenn could only shook his head and heat up the pizza left in his fridge.
He lifted her up and place her to one of the chairs. Then he placed the slice of pizza in front of her.
"Careful, it's still hot. Wha—"
Glenn saw her picked up the steaming hot pizza and eat it with relish as if heat didn't exist.
"You must be really starving, huh."
He took out some sea king meat from the fridge and heat it up. He sat down at the table eat slowly but then heard a fork fell down the floor. He turned to look at Yana and saw her finished her pizza. Her fork was missing and she might've nudged it accidentally to the edge of the table making it fall to the ground.
Glenn sighed and bend down to get the fork and when he stood back up. He saw his plate empty and Yana was chewing something.
Glenn was dumbfounded at first then he panicked. That meat contains energy ordinary people won't be able to handle.
"What the heck, why did you eat my meat? Are you eager to die? Vomit it out or you'll be in trouble!"
But Yana just looked at him like he was some kind of an idiot.
