Monday – After Class
Kazuki is stuffing his notebook into his bag when a voice cuts through the hum of the classroom.
"Haruma. Stay behind."
It's not a suggestion.
It's Natsuki-sensei.
He freezes.
Aya's text appears on his phone:
"Sensei aura just flared. You might die. Text me your blood type."
Empty Classroom – 4:10 PM
Natsuki leans on the desk.
Legs crossed.
Glasses reflecting the setting sun like she's about to reveal the plot twist that ruins everything.
Kazuki sits in front of her like a sinner waiting for divine judgment.
"So," she says, tapping her clipboard, "how long were you planning to pretend your thoughts weren't affecting reality?"
Kazuki panics.
"…I-I'm not—what do you mean—I didn't—"
She raises an eyebrow.
"Haruma. Please. You're about as subtle as a vending machine in a shrine."
Natsuki-sensei slides a folder across the desk.
Inside: reports, strange events, surveillance photos.
One shows the exact moment Kazuki tripped, thought "I wish Sensei's skirt would fly up like in anime," and—
Yeah.
That happened.
"Your little accidents," she says, "aren't just fantasy gags. They're recorded phenomena. Some of us pay attention."
Kazuki opens his mouth.
She raises a finger.
"You get one question. Use it well."
He blurts:
"Are you a government agent?"
She laughs.
"Cute."
Natsuki stands.
Paces.
Then: "I've been watching you since the first anomaly. I'm not here to dissect you. I'm here to train you."
Kazuki blinks.
"Train me? Like… martial arts?"
"Worse," she says. "Discipline."
"Ah."
"Control."
"Uh-oh."
"Restraint."
"I'm gonna fail."
She walks around behind him.
Leans down.
Whispers:
"Your mind leaks desire into the real world. Right now, it's weak. But what happens when you imagine a meteor? A war? Or... a world where everyone is naked?"
"…Horrible things," Kazuki admits.
"Exactly," she says. "And we can't have that. Which is why—"
She slaps a piece of paper on the desk.
Kazuki picks it up.
It's a registration form.
Title:Special Individual Mental Phenomena Rehabilitation Camp.
"...This is a fake summer school, isn't it?"
"Yes," she says cheerfully.
"It says here the camp slogan is 'Stop Thinking Horny or Die Trying.'"
"I submitted that as a joke. They printed it."
Kazuki stares at her.
"Why me?"
Natsuki-sensei smiles.
Not kindly.
"Because you're dangerous, Haruma. And also because your imagination has potential."
"To do what? Accidentally undress every woman within five meters?"
"To change reality," she says. "And if you can learn to channel it, maybe even fix it."
That shuts him up.
"…Fix what?"
But she's already walking out.
"Your first session is tomorrow. Don't be late."
Evening – Apartment
Aya stares at the flyer.
Then stares at Kazuki.
"Sensei is taking you to a brain camp."
"Yes."
"Because your thoughts are too horny."
"Yes."
"She's not wrong."
"I know."
Aya sips her tea.
Then says:
"I'm coming with you."
Kazuki blinks.
"It's not a field trip."
"It is now."
He frowns. "Why?"
She points at the fine print.
"Camp dorms are co-ed in emergency containment mode."
Kazuki pales.
Aya winks.
"Kidding. Kind of."
Later – Kazuki's Room
He lies in bed.
Staring at the ceiling.
His thoughts race.
Not fantasies.
Just fear.
"If Sensei's right…I could hurt people.Or break the world.Or worse… imagine things that shouldn't exist."
His phone buzzes.
It's Kokoro.
Just one message:
"Still mad. But not gone."
He smiles faintly.
Then texts Aya:
"Thanks for staying."
She responds:
"I'm not done with you yet."
