Right then did Frankenstein appear from behind and successfully landed a knee drop on Peacock's back, making him to loosen up a little bit.
I quickly got Peacock to lay flat on the ground but before I could get in a balanced position, Frank already had her arms over my neck in an attempt to choke me out.
Right at that moment, I let go of Peacock, held onto her like I was about to give her a back ride and stood up.
She quickly understood what was going on and sneaked out of the hold.
Legs over my shoulder from behind and a gun pointed on my head.
I was in a dire situation and got saved by Peacock's insane durability.
He regained balance, stood up, grabbed her by the hair and slammed her on the floor.
Before he could turn to me, a kick from me had got to his right cheek, putting him off balance for a moment which I didn't waste.
Quickly speared him to the ground, got up and flipped backwards twice just to instinctively avoid any surprise attack from our female opponent.
And just like I thought, I was right.
She quickly got into a stance with her gun while I was defensive, making sure I have my head shielded and as for Peacock, he still managed to have his chains on our legs.
"Alright guys, I guess that's enough."
Prince intervened as she has been seated throughout the whole riot as if we were displaying some entertaining drama to her.
"Frankenstein, meet Peacock and Gustavo.
Gustavo and Peacock, meet Frankenstein."
Her last statement got us to lower our guard.
Honestly, taking against them one after the other would have been easier but of course, members of the Roundtable are nothing to take too lightly.
I aided Peacock to be on his feet and then did I reach out to Frankenstein for a handshake.
She accepted and returned same courtesy.
Same goes for Peacock as well before we faced Prince who was nothing but all smiles… I assume.
"Now, this tells me that you have understood your fighting styles, experienced their weaknesses and worked out a way to aid them in those areas, right?"

I jokingly replied but fed on the shocked expressions the other two displayed while taking possession of my microchipped less effective bomb.

The two left as ordered before Prince opened up a conversation,
"I see, you haven't lost your touch, Guz."
She complimented.

I reciprocated.
"It would be a shame if I couldn't notice you plant the first explosive on Peacock's back as you were trying to put him into a submission.
Same goes for when you got hold of Frankenstein when she was on your back.
That's just classical Ray or should I call you Garfield now?"
She stood on her feet while slowly closing up the distance between us.
"Quincy darling, what are you getting on?"
I slowly drew back as she was closing up the distance till my back hit the wall.
There was silence throughout her journey to my position even when she roughly took off my mask including hers as well.
She then reached out, caressed my cheek, then to my lips before making her final hand placement on the back of my neck.
She maintained eye contact with me before finally breaking the silence,
"Nothing much, love, just missed you."
