"Jayden you're okay." Noah welcomed me the minute I stepped into the cabin. He was ecstatic but i couldn't say the same for Liam because he looked at me like he was about to murder me right then and there.
He was clearly still upset and it showed. Not like I care anyway. He can think the worse of me if he wanted to but it wouldn't change anything.
"I thought that father had asked the sentinels to kill and bury you by now. I've never seen him so angry like that before." Noah mused in a mocking tone and made to sit down but i only clicked my tongue at that statement.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Jayden has been asking for it for a long time now. After all, that's what he deserves for everything he has done lately." Liam chipped in. I am in no mood to throw arguments or start a fight with him so i let it slide.
"Why did you send for me? To insult me and make yourself feel better about it?" I asked instead and the angry look on his face only intensifies.
