Chapter 236 - Chapter 236: Gisele

Suker never intended to ride on Gisele Bündchen's fame—he simply wanted to flirt with a beautiful woman.

But after a photo of the two of them riding in the same car surfaced, it was inevitable—Suker instantly became the center of attention not just in Europe, but around the world.

As the world's number one supermodel, a fashion industry mogul, and the highest-earning model globally, countless men had pursued Gisele. Very few had succeeded.

Suker wasn't among the successful ones either—the two of them were just friends for now.

But the media didn't see it that way.

They thrived on rumors and ambiguity; even if there was nothing going on, they would manufacture something.

When Suker arrived at the training base, his teammates all looked at him differently.

"What's your relationship with Gisele Bündchen?"

Suker replied, "Friends."

"Yeah, right!"

This was the normal reaction. People love gossip and willfully ignore the truth when it doesn't entertain them.

No matter how many times Suker clarified that they were just friends, nobody believed it.

"I'm not bringing you to another fashion show!" Inzaghi said with a hint of jealousy.

It was Gisele Bündchen, after all!The sexiest woman in the world! Why didn't he have such luck?

Suker couldn't be bothered to explain.

Maldini came over and patted Suker on the shoulder. "You and Gisele Bündchen…"

"Nothing going on!" Suker sighed.

Even you, Captain? So gossipy!

Maldini laughed. "Say what you want, but you're still a young guy. Just don't let it affect your form—keep things in moderation."

He'd seen plenty of players drained by their beautiful girlfriends.

He didn't want Suker to be one of them.

Ring ring.

The phone rang.

Suker answered it, only to hear Duimovic and Vukojević screaming.

"Whoa! Is it true? Oh my God—you really scored Gisele—"

Click.

Suker hung up immediately.

These guys had way too much free time.

After a full day of training, the other players gradually left the field.

Suker stayed behind.

"Not leaving yet?" Kaka asked.

Suker shook his head. "You go ahead. I'm doing some extra shooting practice."

Kaka nodded and left without another word.

Soon, the training ground was nearly empty.

Suker placed balls at different positions and began practicing various types of shots—Curved shots, finesse shots, toe pokes, chips, and more.He wanted to get familiar with every kind.

As he trained again and again, the sun began to set.

Suker wiped sweat from his forehead.

Just then, the roar of an engine echoed nearby.

A red Ferrari raced up and screeched to a halt at the edge of the training field.

The scissor door lifted.

A pair of long, slender legs stepped out.

Gisele Bündchen was wearing a black miniskirt and a long black blazer, cinched at the waist with a belt to accentuate her figure.

Her golden wavy hair danced in the breeze. Arms folded, chin slightly raised, she smiled slightly.

"Good afternoon."

Suker looked at her. "I thought outsiders weren't allowed in Milan's training facility."

Gisele circled her face with a finger. "This is my access pass."

"Done training?" she asked.

Suker nodded. "Yeah, I'm done."

"Come on—I'm taking you to dinner."

Suker walked over, leaned on the barrier, and smiled. "A real gentleman always picks up the tab."

Gisele flipped her hair. "Then I'll give you that chance."

"Give me five minutes."

Suker turned to pack up the balls.

Gisele watched with a smirk. "Take ten—clean up properly!"

Suker replied, "If you care that much, you wash me!"

Gisele grinned. "Is this your way of flirting?"

Suker sighed. Damn, this older woman's hard to crack.

When he finally came out showered and changed, he looked up at Gisele, who was still half a head taller than him in her heels.

"Next time you come see me, can you not wear high heels?" he grumbled.

Gisele: "Friends don't mind that kind of thing."

Suker: "…Let's go."

But Gisele didn't move. She looked at Suker's training outfit and raised an eyebrow. "You're going out dressed like that?"

"Friends don't mind that kind of thing," Suker mimicked her, flashing a smile.

Gisele couldn't help but laugh. "You're so petty."

They got in the car.

"Where to?" Gisele asked.

Suker directed, "Take a left out of the training base, go straight—you'll see a Walmart."

Gisele blinked. "A supermarket?"

"You're sitting next to a chef."

He pulled out his phone and made a call.

When the line connected, he said, "Zorancic, stay somewhere else tonight."

Gisele smiled. "I never said I was sleeping over."

Suker shrugged. "Who knows what might happen?"

At the supermarket, Suker filled a cart with vegetables and ingredients.

Gisele followed behind, hands clasped behind her back.

All eyes were on them.

Mostly because Gisele's aura was overwhelming.

This was "Queen Gisele," a woman whose presence felt like a thousand troops marching.

Watching Suker fill the cart nearly to overflowing, she muttered, "Are you feeding a pig?"

Suker didn't turn around.

"Gotta stock up, right? You've got a car, help me haul it back."

"So I'm the muscle?"

"Muscle gets paid. You're getting one meal."

They stuffed as much as they could into the tiny Ferrari trunk, the rest going into the passenger seat's legroom. Suker curled up, complaining, "This car sucks."

Gisele snapped, "Who uses a Ferrari to haul groceries?!"

Suker turned to her. "Don't insult yourself like that."

She froze—then burst into laughter.

"You're such a jerk!"

They arrived at Suker's villa.

Carrying the bags inside with no concern for the paparazzi at the door, they acted like they were invisible.

Gisele even flashed a smile at a photographer mid-snap.

Bang bang bang bang!In the kitchen, Suker was hard at work cooking.

Gisele wandered around the house.

"I thought men's homes were always a mess."

Suker: "Which idiot gave you that impression?"

Gisele smirked. "A real scumbag."

"What are we eating?" she asked.

Suker: "There's no menu here. The chef cooks—you eat."

He prepared a lavish meal.

Chinese, French, even pasta.

Just the smell made Gisele's mouth water.

Looking at the spread, she exhaled and gave Suker a sultry glance.

"If I really dated you, I'd probably get fat!"

Suker just smiled.

He went to the wine cabinet and pulled out a bottle.

"Wine?"

Gisele picked up her fork, flashing him a meaningful look.

Suker shrugged. "Actually, there's a third key step in flirting."

"Oh?" she raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

Suker yanked out the cork.

"Go hard with the booze!"

HAHAHAHAHA!!

Gisele laughed heartily.

Her laugh wasn't ladylike—it was bold and carefree.

"Just for that, I'll drink half a glass."

Suker immediately poured it.

They sipped, chatted, and ate. Time flew by.

Around 9 PM, Gisele stood up. "I should go."

Suker pointed upstairs. "Room's up there. Big bed."

Gisele shrugged. "I'm not interested in your private space yet."

"You've been drinking—you can't drive."

"So, are you taking me home?"

"No. I'll report you for DUI."

Pfft!!

Gisele laughed again.

She tossed her hair. "I have a personal assistant. Thanks for the meal—it was delicious."

Suker winked. "Really leaving?"

Gisele waved as she put on her shoes. "I'll come see you play sometime."

"Need a ticket?"

"I'm a rich woman, remember?" she teased.

Suker could only watch her leave.

Moments later, Zorancic and Kaka walked in.

"She left just like that?"

Zorancic shook his head. "You're hopeless at flirting."

Kaka didn't care. He headed straight for the table, grabbed a fork and knife, and dug in.

Suker looked at Zorancic. "You didn't go to the hotel?"

Zorancic: "Didn't think you'd seal the deal, so I hung out at Kaka's. And I was right."

Suker smirked. "Just eat your food."

Zorancic joined Kaka at the table.

Suker stood on the stairs and called down, "Whoever eats has to wash the dishes—no clean-up, no next meal!"
