Chapter 6 – Future Plans
Leaning against the door, Lucius let out a long sigh of relief.
One problem down—still a mountain left to climb.
'Wait… did I forget something?'
'Ah! Right! I never asked about Edward's transformation! His race, his powers—dammit!'
'Well… I guess it couldn't be helped. I was already grateful for how he handled everything. He's always been that kind of guy…'
"Edward… haah… Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I'm really lucky to have him."
Feeling lighthearted, Lucius ran toward Sister Sophia's bedroom to share the good news.
He pushed the door open with a little too much enthusiasm—
Bang!
The door nearly flew off its hinges, slamming into the wall with a loud crash.
Inside, Sister Sophia sat reading a message from her colleagues, while Eve was sprawled on the bed, nose-deep in a manhwa.
Both jumped at the sound.
"Eek! What the—?!" Eve yelped, nearly rolling off the bed.
Sister Sophia blinked, clearly startled but maintaining her calm. "Luci? What happened?"
'Crap! Seriously!? That wasn't even full force!'
'Oh… right. Strength stat boost. Yeah, gotta be more careful now…'
Lucius gave a sheepish smile and scratched the back of his head.
"Ahaha… sorry about that. I forgot how strong I've gotten… Anyway! Sister Sophia! The plan—It worked!"
Relief washed over Sister Sophia's face as she exhaled. She then smiled genuinely.
"Congratulations, Luci! So how did it go? Tell us everything."
Eve perked up. "Brother Luci! Wait—is this about your plan with your friend? You told him?"
With a bright grin, Lucius plopped down in front of them and began recounting everything in vivid detail.
---
Fast-forward...
He finished the story, and both sisters were beaming.
"That's a relief…" Sister Sophia said softly.
Eve suddenly sat up with an excited grin. "Brother Luci! Let's go out tomorrow!"
"Huh?"
"It's a national holiday, right? We should go shopping for your new clothes! Maybe get your hair done! You, me, and Sister Sophia—just us girls!"
Lucius blinked.
Eve's eyes were practically sparkling as she imagined the scenario:
A trio of beautiful girls shopping, laughing, getting makeovers—straight out of a manhwa.
Lucius was quiet for a moment. The idea felt… surreal. But there were merits.
It would be a good chance to get used to his new appearance—and to practice acting like a woman in public.
"…You know what? Sure. Why not?" he said at last.
"It's a good excuse to hang out together. We rarely get the chance anymore with our different schedules.
Uh, what about you, Sister Sophia?"
Sister Sophia hesitated.
She was worried about Lucius—worried about how the world would treat someone who looked like him.
But she trusted her brother's strength. He'd overcome so much already.
"…Alright. I'm in," she said with a small nod.
"And don't worry about money. I've been saving up for emergencies. I'd say this qualifies."
Lucius felt his chest tighten, not with anxiety—but with gratitude.
'Despite everything… I'm really lucky. Some people don't even have food on the table. But I have this family.'
"Sister… thank you. Really. I don't even know what to say."
Sophia smiled warmly. "Like I always say—it's my job as your big sister. We take care of each other.
Now come on, let's make some plans."
Eve raised her hand excitedly. "Me me me!"
She grinned.
"Okay, first! We're getting you a real haircut—at an actual salon.
No more cheap barbershops with sad clippers and five-minute trims.
You've got potential, brother Luci, and we are going to unleash it."
Lucius chuckled.
'Hah. She's serious about this. Fine. I'll take that challenge.'
"Alright, Eve. You win.
…Uh, but how much does something like that usually cost?"
He looked genuinely worried.
He had a feeling he'd be parting with at least half a million rupiah—maybe even a full mil.
That thought alone made his wallet cry.
Eve and Sophia, being girls, had been to salons before — though only for minor trims around their bangs or the tips of their hair. So they never spent much.
"Ehh… Don't worry about it, Brother Luci," Eve said reassuringly. "I think a full cut and styling might cost around 150k, maybe even less. I'm not totally sure though — I've never done a full cut myself."
Sophia chimed in with a suggestion.
"Actually, I know a good place. The price is reasonable, and I trust the stylist — she's a friend of mine. Maybe you'll even get a little discount... though please don't mention I said that. I don't want to pressure her."
Hearing that, Lucius felt genuinely relieved. Having sisters like his really was a blessing — both dependable and thoughtful.
"Okay, so the salon plan's set. Now how about the store? Where should we shop for clothes? Actually… why not all of us buy something together?"
He smiled warmly, but both Eve and Sophia gave him a slightly awkward look. Buying a few sets of women's clothing — including underwear and accessories — could be expensive, even from affordable brands. They couldn't afford to splurge on themselves too.
"It's okay, Brother Luci," Eve said gently. "We've still got plenty of nice clothes from Mom. They're good brands too — maybe not the latest trends, but still pretty and well-kept."
Sophia nodded, nudged by Eve's elbow.
"Yeah, don't worry. If we really want something, we'll get it another time. For now, our priority is helping you get what you need."
Lucius frowned a little, clearly uncomfortable with being the sole focus. He glanced away.
"But… I don't like it if I'm the only one getting something nice. It doesn't feel right."
Sister Sophia smiled softly.
"Luci, it's okay to be on the receiving end once in a while. It's a special occasion — and if the tables turn someday, I know you'll do the same for us."
She grinned playfully and added,
"Like I said, it's your day — you're the main character. We're just the supporting cast today, dressing you up! Uh... is that the right term? I don't usually read comics or novels, so forgive me if I butchered it."
Lucius chuckled, finally giving in.
"Alright, alright… So where's the best place to shop?"
Eve brightened.
"How about Un#lo? They've got a wide variety, and the prices are decent. Plus, they've got accessories too!"
Sophia nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, good call. It's a solid place for bulk buys. If we ever need something more special — like a dress for an event — we can check out other stores later."
Lucius just nodded wearily. He didn't have any brand preference anyway, so trusting their judgment was easiest.
As for why Lucius couldn't just wear their late mother's clothes — well, even with the transformation, he was still noticeably taller. At 175 cm, he was about 10 cm taller than Sophia, and both Eve and their late mother had been around 160 cm. The fit would be awkward at best — or ruin the sentimental pieces entirely. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
Time slipped by without them noticing. It was already past 7 PM, almost 8. Realizing they'd skipped dinner, they finally headed to the kitchen.
Thankfully, Edward had brought more than enough food — extra portions meant just for Lucius's sisters. He really was the best kind of friend — thoughtful to a fault.
After a happy dinner, the siblings each took turns showering. About an hour later, freshly dressed and full, they gathered again in the bedroom to finalize the next day's plans.
Lucius spoke up first.
"About tomorrow… what should I wear? Is it okay if I just wear my old hoodie and jeans? That should be fine, right?"
Eve, eyes gleaming mischievously, leaned forward.
"Hehehe~ Brother Luci~ How about we pick your outfit right now? Let's get you looking fabulous!"
Lucius instinctively leaned back, alarm bells going off in his head.
"H-Haha… Eve, maybe let's talk this through first? I mean… some of my clothes aren't that bad, right?"
But Eve wasn't letting up. She pounced, trying to grab him by the arm — and Lucius darted away like a cornered cat. What followed was a full chase scene around the bedroom.
Sophia watched the chaos unfold. After a few seconds of their antics, she sighed, visibly exasperated, and raised her voice.
"Both of you. Enough."
Instant freeze. Lucius and Eve stopped mid-chase, breaking into a cold sweat. Sophia rarely got angry — when she did, it meant business.
They both scrambled back to sit in front of her, heads slightly bowed.
"I'm sorry, Sister…" Eve mumbled, sheepish.
"I'm sorry too, Sister Sophia…" Lucius added, looking regretful. "But Eve started it! She wants me to wear a dress!"
Sophia smiled after hearing their apologies, teasing them with a touch of authority.
"Alright, just don't do it again. Running around inside our bedroom is off-limits — especially now that both of you have awakened powers you haven't fully learned to control yet.
"So please, behave, okay?
"Also… Eve, I'll help you pick Luci's outfit for tomorrow's outing. I'm sorry, Luci, but please think of this as… training."
Lucius let out a defeated sigh, slumping in place as he accepted the incoming storm of attention.
'Why… Sister Sophia…
'Ugh… I really don't want to dress up like a princess… but they're so excited about this.
'Maybe Sister Sophia has a point. If I'm going to pass as someone else in public, I need to look and act like a real woman — not just in looks, but in experience. It's for my own safety… and to keep our family safe too.'
"Yay! How about this one?" Eve exclaimed, pulling out a striking one-piece dress from Sophia's closet. It had a bright blue osca color with a checkered pattern.
Sophia, tilting her head, seemed unsure. "Hmm… it doesn't really suit Luci's current aura. Wait a sec…"
She pulled out another dress — more elegant and refined. This one had shoulder cutouts, a rich dark green hue, and intricate floral embroidery in silver thread. It radiated a quiet nobility.
"That one…" she said softly, brushing her hand across the fabric. "It was a gift from our grandparents — from Father's side — for my eighteenth birthday. They gave it to me when I was sixteen… it felt like a parting gift. I never got the chance to wear it."
Her expression turned distant — nostalgic, yet heavy. The memory of what followed that year lingered in the silence. But she composed herself and held the dress out toward Lucius.
"It'll look amazing on you, Luci. You can wear my short-heeled shoes too — they're a bit bigger than my size, so they should fit. The color matches well."
'Haha… it really does look nice on me…
'So now I have to wear it, huh?
'Stay strong, Lucius. Don't snap at your sisters. You'll regret it later. Just think of this as… training.'
Lucius's thoughts were jumbled, his pride and discomfort clashing with gratitude and understanding. He didn't want to abandon his male identity, but he couldn't deny that learning how to "blend in" was necessary — even vital.
"…Okay. I'll wear it. Where should I change?"
Eve, clearly impressed with the dress, looked absolutely giddy.
Sophia offered gently, "How about here? You can try changing in front of us — we'll turn around, of course. We won't peek.
"Think of it as a chance to get used to… this kind of situation."
W-Wait, for real?! This is insane… No. Don't lose it. Think of this as practice. Training. Deep breath, Lucius.
After a moment of hesitation, Lucius nodded.
"I… I think that's fine."
True to their word, Eve and Sophia turned around. Lucius began undressing, fumbling awkwardly with unfamiliar straps and clasps. Eventually, after some struggle, he slipped into the dress.
"I'm done," he said, voice small.
The two sisters turned around.
And fell silent.
The dress fit him perfectly. It hugged his form in all the right places, accentuating the gentle curves along his waist and hips. His posture, the subtle shimmer of his hair, and the softness in his expression — everything about the moment screamed beauty.
Haha… It really does suit me…
But don't forget, Lucius — you're still a man.
Eve grinned with pride. "Gorgeous! That dress was made for you!"
Sophia smiled too — warmly, but with a touch of melancholy. This was the first time she'd ever seen the dress worn. She'd never been able to bring herself to wear it, not with the memories attached to it. Yet somehow… seeing Lucius in it brought her closure.
"It really is perfect," she said. "Thank you, Lucius… and I'm sorry for putting you through this. Can you forgive your sister?"
Lucius felt a pang of emotion — pride, discomfort, love, and sadness all at once. He smiled back, softly.
"It's okay, Sister Sophia. I'll take it as a lesson for the future. You don't need to carry guilt for doing what's best for me."
The night winded down. It was almost 10 PM.
Lucius changed back into his comfortable sleeping clothes and climbed into bed, body tired and mind swirling.
This whole thing… it still feels like a dream. This life wouldn't have happened if I hadn't transformed. Would I have ever experienced something like this otherwise?
Feeling conflicted but determined to rest, he shut his eyes — letting sleep take him at last.
