Instead of replying right away, Narmidor properly turned silent, lowered his face, and took his time thinking while stroking his chin.
"That many, huh?" he muttered now and then, soon starting to pace around the room as he considered all the consequences of the reality Theo presented to him.
Ultimately, however, rather than accepting or denying Theo's ideas, he stopped in his tracks and looked over at the prince.
"Assuming what you said is true, what does the future that you can see hold?"
Theo took a deep breath.
This was the question that he both feared the most and anticipated the most.
Feared, because it felt as if spelling out his plans would only ensure the world would do everything in its fateful power to put a wrench in his plans.
Anticipated, because he would finally be free to share the vision that he had in mind for a while and that he worked for over the last few days.
