The Devil's Bride

Episode 73: The Rise of the Seraph Blade
Ash rained down like snow across the desolate field. The skies, once blue, now simmered in hues of blood and brass. The realms of Heaven and Hell had shifted. Balance was no more.
From the highest spire of the Shadow Citadel, Seraphina stood, the winds tangling her raven-black hair, her hands still pulsing from the seal burned into her flesh by the Arbiter. The mark glowed like dying stars across her arms—a tether to the fate she had chosen.
"Are you afraid?" Lucian asked softly, stepping beside her.
"No," she replied. "But I am awake now. Fully."
Behind them, the remnants of the Hellfire Guard gathered. Dante, the Crimson Commander, knelt before her.
"My Queen. The armies of the Dawn Court march. The angels no longer wait for Heaven's decree."
"And Hell?" she asked.
Dante's face darkened. "Some remain loyal to the old order. They call Lucian a traitor… and you a false bride."
Lucian smirked. "Let them come."
Seraphina raised her hand. Her palm shimmered with celestial and infernal energy, forming a sword of light and shadow—the Seraph Blade. It sang with the voices of every fallen soul who ever dared to love across realms.
"We'll give them war," she whispered. "And if we fall, let it be known that love was our rebellion."
Far beyond the citadel walls, the battlefield churned. Golden banners of Heaven rose against the infernal standards of Hell. Between them, Seraphina's army, a force neither divine nor damned—something entirely new.
As the ground quaked with the footsteps of giants and dragons soared across shattered skies, a strange silence fell.
Then came a horn—a deep, ancient blare that made even time pause. From the eastern pass emerged a force cloaked in blue fire and ancient armor. The sigil of the Forgotten Realm glowed upon their chests.
Queen Nevara had kept her promise.
"They've come," Lucian said, eyes wide.
"Then it begins," Seraphina answered. "This world will be rewritten in fire and love."
She lifted the Seraph Blade high. Its light split the sky.
And with a single step forward, she led her army to war.
