Cassidy, Clara, and Claire finally arrived at their new apartment. After unlocking the door, Cassidy led Clara on a brief tour of the place, showing her around the living room, kitchen, and the guest room that Clara would be staying in.
"This is lovely," Clara said with a smile as she stepped into the room. "I love the light in here. And the view's not bad either."
Cassidy chuckled. "Glad you like it. If anything feels off, we can always rearrange things."
Clara shook her head. "No need. It's perfect."
Cass had chosen this apartment carefully. She'd originally considered buying a villa on the outskirts of the city, something more secluded. But with her mother still in the hospital, she needed to be nearby. The apartment was just fifteen minutes away from the hospital, and that convenience outweighed everything else.
She didn't know how long they'd stay in the city but for now, this place would be their home.
