Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4 – OMNI PATH SYSTEM

CHAPTER 4

DING~

Jean couldn't believe his ears. Six years — he had waited patiently, faithfully, like a dog wagging its tail, hoping for a bone it had more than earned.

"F***, F***, F***, F***…"

"YES! I FINALLY HAVE MY CHEAT!"

DO YOU LIKE MY GIFT?

"HELL YEAH! IT'S FREAKING AWESOME! Thank you — I really appreciate it," Jean said, eyes lit with joy, his dimples making a strong comeback.

THEN DO NOT DISAPPOINT ME, JEAN HOLLAND.

"I won't," Jean said, flashing a toothy grin.

The presence began to fade, like smoke dissipating into thin air. But its voice lingered faintly in Jean's mind. Then, nothing.

Not that Jean noticed. His entire attention was locked on one thing.

His system.

"Yo, System."

{YES, HOST.}

"What are your functions?" he asked, practically bouncing.

"…Eh?"

"EHHHH? A hundred reps and a ten-minute plank?! Are you trying to kill me?! I'm six! SIX! It says so on YOUR INTERFACE!"

Jean clutched his head. "Systems always forget the basics. Tsk."

"Haaah... well, the rewards are decent, at least."

He rubbed his chin. "But how do I pull this off without Mom and Dad noticing? I mean, come on... plank for ten minutes?"

He sighed. "No point stressing. When the time comes, I'll cross that bridge."

Still buzzing from excitement, Jean made his way to the door.

KNOCK. KNOCK.

A knock interrupted his thoughts.

"Who is it?"

"Young Master, it's Rachel. The Master and Mistress request your presence in the dining hall," came a sweet, melodic voice.

Jean scratched his head, chuckling sheepishly. "Totally forgot."

He opened the door and was instantly greeted by a stunning figure — dark skin, Barbie-tier beauty, curves in all the right places. Easily a 10/10 on figure, 9/10 on face, and that voice? Heavenly. And of course — the maid outfit wasn't helping.

Jean's internal monologue exploded. A maid outfit? Lord have mercy on my poor, innocent soul.

"Had enough staring, Young Master?" Rachel teased with a dazzling smile.

Jean cleared his throat. "Ahem… Let's not keep Mom and Dad waiting." He spun on his heel and walked ahead, refusing to let her see the blush heating his cheeks.

Rachel giggled, trailing behind. "Wait for me, Young Master~"

Jean didn't turn. He couldn't. Tomato-face mode was in full swing.

They reached the grand dining hall. Two suited men stood guard. One opened the doors with a respectful nod. Rachel stayed behind, but not without a final tease.

"I'll be waiting right here, Young Master~" she said, chuckling.

Jean nearly stumbled. "Why did I die a virgin?" he mourned in silence — until a voice pulled him back to reality.

"Come here, my little bundle of joy! How was your sleep?"

Jean beamed. "It was amazing, Mom. How about you?"

Sara, his mother, looked like a goddess — model-level beauty, warm eyes, and a voice smooth like honey.

"I'm feeling great now that I've seen my baby," she said.

"Looks like I've turned into a ghost," Tyler, his father, muttered, fake-pouting behind his newspaper. Dressed in a tailored green tux, he looked every bit the modern noble.

"Quit whining," Sara said with a sharp tone. "Drop the act and the paper. Let's have breakfast and get the day started."

Tyler chuckled — a slow, mischievous grin spreading across his face. Sara shivered. Her eyes smoldered, lips bitten, legs crossed as if restraining something...

Jean sighed. Seriously? Can't we have ONE normal family breakfast without something weird happening?

He caught Tyler mouthing something to Sara, which seemed to calm her. Jean rolled his eyes. Give me a break.

"So, Jean," Tyler said, lowering his paper, "are you ready to start school?"

Sara leaned in, eyes full of expectation.

Jean's eyes gleamed. Finally, time to leave the house.

"I'd love to! About time I made new friends," he said, smiling wide.

His parents melted instantly.

"Hehehe," Jean smirked inwardly. Works every time.
