Vortex:
Planet most likely created by mysterious beings known as the Observers. It's a world of endless warfare, brutal conflicts, and ruthless manipulation, where various civilizations, races, and factions fight for survival and dominance. Vortex is saturated with powerful magic that affects each individual differently, shaping their fate in unpredictable ways. The true origin and purpose of this chaotic world remain shrouded in mystery.
Observers: Unknown, mysterious beings who created and oversee the planet Vortex. They are responsible for bringing various races and civilizations to this world, promising them a chance to fight for a new home. Their true intentions, however, remain hidden from all.
Telescreens: Enormous magical screens through which the Observers communicate with the inhabitants of Vortex, often displaying important events or scenes unfolding across the planet in real-time.
Noroi: A mysterious and dangerous power originating from one's psyche—born primarily from trauma, emotional wounds, and deeply hidden vulnerabilities. Not everyone can wield Noroi; it manifests exclusively in individuals bearing strong emotional scars. Each user receives a unique ability tied directly to their personal trauma, but in exchange, they must bear the heavy burden of their own curse.
On Vortex, apart from Noroi, there also exist racial abilities—innate powers specific to each race. Due to the magic flowing through the planet, even individuals initially lacking magical affinity can learn to harness certain forms of magic. However, Noroi remains a rarity, born solely from pain and suffering—forever reminding its bearer of past wounds.
Exilium:
City built from ruins, dust, forgotten technology, and the cooperation of three distinct races. Here, every nail and scrap of metal counts—holding together a fragile civilization constantly on the brink of collapse. The city is governed by powerful leaders known as the Exarchs. Exilium and its surrounding territories have been enclosed by a mysterious magical barrier, isolating its inhabitants from the outside world and leaving them unaware of what lies beyond.
Humans: Adaptable, resilient, and ambitious. Known for their determination, humans constantly strive to survive and thrive despite overwhelming odds. On Vortex, humanity is divided into three distinct groups: inhabitants of Exilium; the Nomads, who rejected coexistence with other races; and the Mutants, those who fell victim to a mysterious plague that transformed their bodies, granting them sinister powers related to blood and bone.
Val'Asari: Masters of biotechnology and cybernetics. Although typically human-like in appearance, Val'Asari can be identified by visible implants on their bodies, enhancing their strength and combat abilities.
Tinkari: A small race, typically standing no taller than 140 cm, easily recognized by their pointed ears. Tinkari are ironic, blunt, and notoriously rude. They excel in engineering, construction, and advanced technology.
Astralis:
Astralis is a large, fortified city enclosed behind massive walls, inhabited by six pure races. The city is governed by six powerful Centurions, each representing their respective race. United by necessity, its citizens strive to coexist in harmony, even as they actively take part in the ruthless mission to claim a new home.
Humans: Adaptable and versatile, the humans of Astralis have learned to live alongside other races in relative harmony. Many of them became particularly sensitive to the magic flowing through Vortex, awakening unique and diverse abilities within them.
Luminari: A race of artists, aristocrats, and perfectionists who strive relentlessly for absolute excellence. They wield powerful artistic magic, and can also utilize strands of their magic for telepathic communication. Most Luminari have silver hair, silver eyes, and pale skin.
Varkari: Humanoid in appearance, the Varkari race possesses distinct animal traits—typically feline ears and tails. Their powerful animal instincts grant them exceptional speed, heightened senses, and agility. They excel in combat, proficient with close-range weapons, deadly claws, as well as ranged attacks.
Castari: A proud race with a demonic appearance, usually characterized by their horns and demon-like tails. However, don't let their looks deceive you—Castari are cultured, honorable, and sophisticated. They are renowned fire mages with the unique ability to imbue and enhance their weapons with flame.
Elves: A proud and often arrogant race, seeing themselves as superior to others. Gifted with the ability to control and manipulate light, they excel as skilled warriors, master archers, and powerful healers who channel their magic through light. Noble elves are easily distinguished by their blonde hair and piercing blue eyes.
Goliathi: A mighty race of giants—males often reaching up to 2.5 meters tall, with females typically around 2.1 meters. They fight for sheer enjoyment; even romance among the Goliathi blossoms from battle. Massive axes and warhammers are their preferred weapons—and their favorite toys.
Legion Nihil:
For Legion Nihil, a life without war is no life at all. Dominance is their strength, and they refuse to share power with anyone. Composed of a mix of outcasts and condemned races, they seek absolute control through ruthless conquest and chaos. The city is ruled by powerful figures known as the Executors.
Dark Elves: An exiled race that once dwelled underground on their home planet. Known for their exceptional night vision, no one is as skilled at assassination as a dark elf. They wield weakening magic and specialize in deadly precision with daggers or scythes. Typically, dark elves have pale skin, dark hair, and striking purple eyes.
