Chapter 64 - 64

"Your sister was driven out by Joseph. Do you have some friendship with Joseph? Go and ask him for mercy. You said it's so late, and your sister was driven out of the manor. Where can she go? She is a girl, what if she meets some bad guys when she goes out?" Christopher looked worried.

Emily didn't see Mrs. Christopher, she must be with her daughter!

She glanced at her father and thought to herself, this father is really good to Abigail!

For Abigail, he even came to plead with this daughter whom he never liked and even hated.

Emily just felt that, as the daughter of the same man, why did this father never worry about her encountering bad people outside when she was away from home for a long time before.

"Dad, I have some friendship with Joseph. I work in his pharmaceutical research institute. I can try to beg him to spare my sister. But I can't guarantee that he will listen to me. After all, he is not someone who can be trusted by people like us." Emily's expression was very calm. She didn't look worried, and she couldn't tell whether she really wanted to beg for mercy or was just pretending.

But Christopher had no way out now, so he had to believe Emily's words.

"Then go quickly!" Christopher said.

Emily nodded and turned around, pretending to go downstairs.

After walking a few steps, Emily turned around and said to her father: "By the way, Dad, please give me back the photos that my mother took of me when I was a child!"

Hearing this, Christopher's eyes dimmed slightly. He didn't expect Emily to negotiate with him at this time.

But Emily was very calm. She had never thought of threatening her father with this condition before.

It was Joseph, the man who helped her secretly, who just deliberately said the word "condition" to remind her.

Christopher hesitated a little. He still wanted to threaten Emily with those photos.

"Dad, won't you give me those photos? I am your daughter too!" Emily smiled lightly at her father, without any calculation in her clear eyes.

Christopher sighed and took Emily into his room to get those photos.

Emily took the photos and said to her father, "Dad, you should have a backup on your computer! Why don't you give me the computer and I'll buy you a new one tomorrow."

Christopher was a little reluctant. He didn't expect Emily to become so cautious.

"You are so cunning!" Christopher complained, and finally gave the laptop in the room to Emily.

Emily lowered her eyes, a little worried that Christopher still had a USB backup.

So she asked, "Dad, you don't have a USB backup, do you?"

Christopher's face changed: "How much do you think I want to keep those photos of your childhood!"

"Then do you still have it?" Emily continued to ask calmly.

"No, your dad doesn't know how to use a USB flash drive!" Christopher said.

Emily looked at him seriously and believed what her father said for the time being.

But she felt a little cold in her heart. They were obviously father and daughter, but they still had to intrigue like this!

Emily took the notebook and photos and quickly returned to the room, put the things in it, and then followed Christopher downstairs.

Unexpectedly, Daniel and the bodyguards were so fast. Although Mrs. Christopher kept dragging her daughter and pleading with Daniel, the bodyguards still resolutely carried Abigail out and drove her out of the villa.

"Dad, you stay here to watch my sister. I'll go to the mansion to find Joseph!" Emily said.

Christopher glanced at Emily and said with some concern: "You must let your sister stay. If your sister can't stay, you know the consequences!"

Emily frowned. She knew that since her mother died, her father knew that the best way to threaten her was to dig up her mother's grave.

Emily ran to the main house, pretended to drink a cup of tea, and then called Joseph.

When the call was connected, Joseph's voice was warm and magnetic: "What did you want, did you get it?"

Emily nodded: "Can you let Abigail go?"

"Yes, but you haven't exchanged conditions with me yet." Joseph said slowly, and seemed to have a smile.

"Then what conditions do you want me to exchange?" Emily asked him.

"Wouldn't it be better if you put it forward!" Joseph threw the question back.

Emily racked her brains but couldn't think of a condition that would satisfy him and she would be willing to do.

"How about I owe it first and pay it back later, okay?" Emily deliberately acted like a spoiled child when she said this.

She didn't expect that her coquetry was quite effective, and Joseph actually agreed to her so easily.

After receiving the order, Daniel had Abigail released. Abigail and Mrs. Christopher were almost exhausted from struggling all the way.

At this moment, the bodyguards let go, and the mother and daughter completely collapsed on the ground.

Abigail's long hair was a mess, and the clothes she had just worn were worn out because of the dragging.

The whole person looked like a crazy woman.

Christopher hurried forward to help them up.

Abigail was full of resentment and cursed: "It's all Emily's bitch. She deliberately framed me and made Joseph hate me!"

Mrs. Christopher heard it and cursed angrily: "She is a bitch. I will make her pay for what happened today!"

Christopher had a gloomy face and was very dissatisfied with what Emily did tonight.

Daniel walked very slowly, and he could hear the curses of the three people behind him.

He was also very curious about how Emily could have such a family. They were clearly the ones who did something wrong, but they could still blame others so righteously and turn a blind eye to others' kindness.

Christopher saw Daniel gradually walking away, and suddenly remembered something, and ran after him.

Mrs. Christopher also helped her daughter to catch up.
