Chapter 68 - 68

"Emily, if you continue to be so presumptuous, get out of the manor!" Abigail was so angry that her face turned pale, pointing at Emily's nose and scolding.

Emily looked up at her: "You talk as if you are the owner of this place."

"Of course, this is my cousin's territory. If it weren't for us, do you think you would have the chance to live here in this life?" Abigail said proudly, looking at Emily with a little more contempt in her eyes.

At this time, the servant brought breakfast to Emily and said respectfully: "Miss Emily, please enjoy!"

Emily looked up and smiled at the servant.

She said to Pan Shuang on the side: "You should sit down and eat together!"

Pan Shuang nodded and sat down.

The servant soon brought out a breakfast for Pan Shuang.

Abigail looked at Emily and seemed to ignore her boastful words. She was so angry that she wanted to rush over.

At this moment, Pan Shuang looked up, his sharp eyes swept over without any concealment, and his voice was cold and hard: "Mad dog, don't be too presumptuous!"

"Mad dog? Who do you say is a mad dog?" Abigail's lips twitched with anger, and she clenched her fists in madness.

Emily smiled at her and said, "Whoever is seated in the right place is the one!"

"Emily, you are the mad dog!" Abigail was so angry that she picked up a fork on the table and threw it at Emily fiercely.

Emily frowned suddenly and instinctively dodged to the side.

"Ah!" Abigail suddenly screamed, because she saw that the woman named Pan Shuang not only reached out and caught the fork steadily, but also threw it towards her.

Emily wanted to stop it, but it was too late.

Abigail was so frightened that she forgot to dodge at all.

The other end of the fork hit her forehead hard, and she immediately saw stars in her eyes, and fell to the ground with a thud.

Emily was also startled, and hurriedly got up to see her sister who was in a state of great distress.

Fortunately, Pan Shuang had a trick up his sleeve and did not use the sharp end of the fork to shoot at her.

Otherwise, Abigail's forehead would not have been swollen, but would have been pierced directly, with blood gushing out.

Abigail was injured, and no one in the restaurant came forward to help her except Emily.

Emily took a look and was sure that everyone here might have been instructed by Joseph to not care about the lives of others except herself.

Don't be nosy!

She helped Abigail sit down on the chair from the ground and asked, "Are you okay?"

Abigail was in so much pain that she had no strength to speak.

Seeing her miserable state, Emily said to the servants behind her, "Go get some ice and apply it to her!"

"Okay!" The servants then went to get the ice pack.

"Don't worry about her. No matter how good you are to such a person, you can't be as good as a dog!" Pan Shuang said while eating breakfast.

Emily didn't say anything. What Pan Shuang said was indeed true.

No matter how much she hated her sister and how good she was to her, Abigail would never treat her as a sister.

Sure enough, after Abigail's most unbearable pain passed, she angrily shook off Emily's hand: "Go away, stop pretending to be a good person here!"

Emily chuckled: "Just right, I haven't finished my breakfast yet!"

She didn't mind, and returned to her seat as cool as water, eating breakfast.

"Little bitch, when my parents come down later, I will definitely let them see how you treated me just now! Let Dad kick you out!" Abigail said very confidently.

Emily looked at her and said, "It doesn't matter!"

Seeing that she was not afraid, Abigail narrowed her eyes slightly: "Don't pretend to be indifferent, you have nowhere else to go except here. Don't think that William and I will come back to find you after canceling our engagement. Don't dream!"

"Of course I won't dream!" Emily said calmly.

She remembered what her brother said, saying that the car accident happened strangely, and it must be that her stepmother and Abigail had secretly activated the car's brakes.

"It's good to know. You killed William's father with your car. If he dares to have you again, his mother will definitely kill you!" Abigail did not forget to add fuel to the fire.

In order not to alert the enemy, Emily did not refute, but said calmly: "Isn't this just what you want!"

"Humph!" Abigail snorted coldly, and a strange light flashed in her beautiful eyes: "A woman like you who is cruel and vindictive will die in the hands of others sooner or later."

Hearing this, Pan Shuang raised his head and shot a flying knife eye at him.

"If you don't want to die, shut your stinky mouth!" Pan Shuang warned coldly.

Abigail suffered a few losses from Pan Shuang, and felt a little guilty. She glared at her quietly, and then whispered: "I'm just telling the truth!"

Emily finished breakfast and looked at the watch. It was almost eight o'clock.

"Let's go!" Emily didn't want to sit here and wait for her father and stepmother to come down, which would inevitably be another toss.

"Emily, you're walking so fast, are you scared?" Abigail refused to let her go and deliberately provoked her.

"I am scared, so what?" Emily didn't fall for her provocation at all.

"I'm not like you, with parents who will do evil with you no matter what, so I naturally have to hide!" Emily said and walked out directly.

"Joseph went to the company so early?" Emily asked Pan Shuang as she walked.

"The young master has returned to the main house, and he should be waiting for you to go to the company together." Pan Shuang said.

"Oh!" Emily nodded slightly and followed Pan Shuang to the main house.
