Song Recommendation: Asa- Don't let me go.

"It says intimacy can happen if I initiate it."
Anthony froze.
Then slowly, he turned to me, "are you offering?", his voice was low—almost cautious.
He stepped closer, took my hand gently.
"Alicia, I can't..."
"You don't have to be intimate," I said quickly, barely breathing. My fingers trembled at my side.
"Just... promise me you'll stay. Tonight."
God, what was I doing? Had I lost my mind?
He exhaled, rubbing his forehead, "I can't," he said, quieter this time. "I'm afraid I can't share your bed."
"Why?" I bit my lip, heart stinging. Wasn't he softening? Didn't he understand what I meant—what I wanted?
"I thought... that was what you wanted too." My eyes dropped to the floor.
"Alicia," he murmured, taking my hand.
"Look at me."
I did. Barely. My lips were trembling, pouty with held-back hurt.
"If I stay," he whispered, "I'll touch you. And I won't be able to stop."
"Then don't stop," I breathed.
