Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: The Roar of War

The Seraphine trembled beneath the fury of Kael Renn's roar.

No one aboard had ever seen him like this—wild, untamed, a tempest incarnate. His voice cracked the steel walls, reverberating through every corridor, every deck, every heart.

"Seraphim!" Kael bellowed, eyes blazing like twin supernovas. "Send all Heralds! Sweep the entire Veil-13 system! I want every last scrap of data. Every piece. Every shadow. Nothing hidden!"

His command was a storm unleashed.

Elisa's hands shook as she worked the console.

"Elisa! Connect me to the President's chamber—now!"

The line flickered alive, and President Ilaren Vos's gruff voice answered.

But before he could speak, Kael erupted like a volcano.

"What the hell is the Black Crown Protocol?!" His tone was furious, mad—like a god betrayed. "Why is Veil-13 a deadzone? Because of you! You've nearly destroyed entire civilizations to protect your secrets!"

There was silence.

Then vos spat out the truth:

"The Black Crown was your scrapyard for prototypes—and failures. The dregs of your own arrogance."

Kael's gaze turned deadly.

"The officer in charge—the traitor—planned this all along. And now your failed protocols have revitalized the pirate scourge. They're growing because of you."

He slammed a fist into the console.

"Call the damn Senate. Inform them now. Prepare for what comes next. Execution orders. The War God has descended."

The call was made.

The Senate chamber erupted into chaos as Elders gathered. Seraphim's voice cut through the noise, calm but resolute.

kael roared at "seraphim ,connect the call to Alpha-lucifer-001"

Kael's fingers danced over his console.

"Authorization code: 01-Lambda-Alpha-09-delta-07 beta-02. Code Black."

The holographic lines shimmered and connected.

"Father," Kael's voice was sharp, urgent. "There is a traitor is the scrapyard generals... and one within the Senate itself. I need the Elders's vote to act."

A beat.

"The Senate... old hags and their corruption. We have three days. After that, I take action—on my own accord. And if any of the Senate are involved, the whole damn Senate falls."

Seraphim interrupted.

"There is an ongoing meeting with President Vos, sire. you know what to do?"

Kael nodded.

In a secluded manor, Adrin Renn sat, eyes cold and calculating. The line to the Senate's Alpha-001 channel blinked.

A voice asked for authentication.

"Call sign?"

"Lucifer."

"Code?"

"01-alpha-lucifer-delta-07-gamma."

The Senate chamber filled with holographic images as Elders and Senators logged in one by one.

Debate roared.

One Senator, trembling with old power, opposed burning the entire veil system down.

Others nodded in grim agreement.

The Elders' masks slipped—faces revealed, alliances fractured.

And then—through the static and flickering light—an unknown figure appeared.

The elders went silent. the senate still goes on without noticing it.

It was none other than Lucifer himself.
