Chapter 17 - Hidden Secrets - Suzine Skyster ?

"When will you come back... darling?" Suzine spoke, a sad look on her face and longing in her voice.

And why wouldn't she feel that way? Her man, Dian, had left the castle after their very first night together without even saying goodbye. It had now been over four weeks—and he still wasn't back...

"Lady Suzine, it's done," said a maid, dressed in the classic maid outfit, standing at the door.

"Lady," huh… Suzine thought, hearing how she was addressed. Even though some time had passed since that night, a soft blush crept onto her cheeks every time someone called her that. It always reminded her of Dian—

His every touch, his sweet voice, his scent, his charming face, and that manly behavior...

A shiver ran down her spine as she recalled it. Her knees even lost their strength for a moment.

Composing herself, she turned. "Are you familiar with the duties of a Head Maid now, Sara?" she asked.

Sara nodded, her expression full of confidence and respect.

Sara was the new Head Maid of the Skyster family. Before Dian left, he had issued an order for everyone in the estate to treat Suzine as a true member of House Skyster.

And so, a vacancy had opened up for the Head Maid position. Suzine herself had overseen the trials—and Sara came out on top.

She was a 20-year-old woman with soft, light pink hair that fell in gentle waves past her shoulders. Her rose-colored eyes shimmered with a playful, mysterious glint. Clad in a laced maid outfit, the snug fit accentuated every curve of her alluring figure—from her slender waist to the generous swell of her hips and chest.

"I do, Lady Suzine," Sara said. "Thank you for personally guiding me." She bowed.

Suzine smiled at her and made her way toward her room, her mind drifting back to that morning...

Four Weeks Ago — The Morning After

"Hmmm..." Suzine stirred as bright sunlight streamed in. Still half-asleep, she rolled over.

"Hm?" she frowned, noticing something—or someone—was missing. "Dian...?" she murmured, pushing herself up in bed.

No one beside her.

Before her thoughts could spiral, she felt a dull soreness between her legs.

"Animal..." she sighed, but her smile betrayed her words. Suddenly, it hit her. "He already got up and left…"

She stood, reaching for her clothes—then hesitated. "I… don't think I can wear these right now," she said, gripping her thin nightie.

It was nearly see-through: a delicate sky-blue piece she had worn last night. Her eyes scanned the room for something more decent to wear on her way back to her own quarters.

They landed on the wardrobe. "They smell like him..." she whispered as she pulled it open.

She picked out a white shirt and black pants.

With a soft *click*, the door opened and Suzine stepped out. Even in oversized clothes, she looked beautiful—almost sensual. The shirt hung loosely over her figure, but the pants clung around her plump hips and barely stayed up.

She made her way down the hall.

---

The noble hallway stretched long and grand, its marble floor gleaming like polished glass under the high sun. Arched windows spilled golden light across ancient tapestries and gilded pillars.

Stained glass cast scattered gems of ruby, sapphire, and emerald across the stone like a spell woven into light. The air was rich with silence and history.

Then a voice broke through it.

"Su—Lady Suzine, all your belongings have been moved to your new room," a maid announced, bowing slightly.

Suzine paused. Lady...?

Noticing her puzzled look, the maid added, "These were direct orders from the young lord. He asked us to treat you as the lady of the house from now on."

Suzine froze. W-what! Isn't that basically... Her face flushed, heart pounding with emotion and warmth.

"O-okay," she replied.

She turned and left—with a wide smile. Her room—no, Dian's room—awaited.

She changed into a cool, icy-blue gown and sat on the bed.

And waited...

Minutes became hours.

Hours became days.

Days became weeks.

Present

As Suzine entered their room again, her expression shifted.

A soft blush returned to her cheeks. Without hesitation, she walked to the wardrobe.

Her steps were hesitant, but her eyes were firm. If this were an anime, her eyes would show a glowing heart—icy blue in color.

She slipped off her gown and changed into Dian's clothes. Then she lay down on the king-sized bed.

Moonlight poured in through the windows, illuminating the room in a silver glow. The castle had fallen silent—but something stirred.

*Snff... sniff... sniffff.*

Suzine lay curled up, hugging herself, her face red as she clung to Dian's shirt.

"D-Dian~" she moaned, barely a whisper. Her body warmed as her mind played scenes from that night over and over.

Eventually, exhaustion won, and she drifted to sleep.

But she didn't know... tomorrow would bring surprises or shocks .

Arbor Flat Castelet

With a soft *click*, the doors opened. Footsteps echoed through the grand space as Dian entered the dining hall.

It shimmered with quiet magic — a long obsidian table stretched beneath floating crystal chandeliers, casting soft, shifting light. Enchanted goblets and golden platters lined its surface, while tapestries of ancient legends adorned the walls. The air was rich with warmth, faint music, and the scent of spell-touched feasts.

"Huh?" He stopped, his breath catching as his eyes landed beside the table.

S-she's breathtaking... he thought.

Gianna stood beside the table, waiting for him. But she looked completely different — like a new person altogether.

An elven woman, radiant and serene. Her light green hair flowed like silk leaves in a spring breeze, matching the gentle glow in her verdant eyes.

A flowing, pale green gown hugged her voluptuous figure, the fabric glimmering faintly with woven enchantments. She stood with quiet grace, as if nature itself had shaped her beauty — elegant, alluring, and timeless in the heart of nobility.

A voice broke his chain of thoughts.

"P-please..."

"Huh?" Dian blinked.

"P-please d-don't stare so much..."*Gianna said, her voice soft, a pink blush blooming across her cheeks. One hand held the other as if to cover herself, but it only enhanced the view — and it felt like her dress might tear at any moment.

A teasing glint flashed in Dian's eyes as he watched her reaction. Something inside him stirred...

"What can I—"
