Prince Gregory walked out of the Palace to the compound where Bloodeye was already waiting for him.
"What is the king's decision" Asked Bloodeye
"Saddle the horse, we leave soon." Prince Gregory gave out an order instead of answering Bloodeye's question, not that Bloodeye complained, he will eventually know the decision of the Supreme.
"Yes, your highness, " Bloodeye acknowledged the order.
"I will be back," Said Prince Gregory, then turned and returned to the Palace, though not to the throne room but towards the Queen's wing. Prince Gregory can't remember the last time he had been in that wing of the Palace, but today he had to go cause that's the wing Princess Mira's room is located, and he had to say bye to the little girl, while making sure the king didn't see him.
Prince Gregory was lucky, as he walked through the long hallway connecting the rooms, he sighted Princess Mira coming towards him and soon the Princess also saw him. She picked up her pace and ran to him arm like she always does anytime they meet.
Prince Gregory laughed as he embraced the girl. "Why are you here?" She asked when they released each other from the hug.
"I came to say goodbye, I will be leaving for the war camp soon," said Prince Gregory
Princess Mira smiled, though she was not really happy that he was leaving for the war camp again, but she was glad he would risk coming to the Queen's wing, which the Queen had banned him from coming to just to say bye. She understood how hard it must have been for him.
"I understand, and appreciate you," she said. "When will you be back?" she asked.
"I can't say for sure, but if what I'm asking to do work, then the war will be over, and that means I will be back home," Prince Gregory gently explained to the girl.
"Then I will pray to goddess Athena, that things work in your favour, so you can return home," said Princess Mira.
Prince Gregory caressed her cheek with a smile on his face. "That's very thoughtful of you," he said. "I have to leave now." Prince Gregory hugged her only once before leaving.
Princess Mira stood there watching him as he left, then suddenly she felt a movement behind her. She turned to see her brother, Prince Peter. "Oh my goodness!" She screamed, startled by the sudden appearance of her brother.
"What were you doing with him?" came Prince Peter's cold voice, and she shivered in fear. "Mother made it clear, she doesn't want to see you with him, didn't she ask?" He asked still with that cold voice that sent a shiver running through her spine.
"I..I..I" she stuttered, not able to make out any sentence.
"I will have to tell Mother," said Prince Peter.
"No! Please don't, " Princess Mira begged, the Queen might lock her in her room till only the gods know when for disobeying her.
"If you don't want me to, then I don't want to see you with him again " said Prince Peter, and nods her head constantly like a lizard, even though she knows she was still going to see Prince Gregory, but she had to do whatever Prince Peter want at the moment to avoid the punishment from the Queen.
"Then it is settled," said Prince Peter before leaving.
