Chapter Thirty-Four
"Welcome everyone, students."
A middle-aged woman with yellow hair greeted us before she began speaking about the academy.
"You have been divided into five categories from rank S to F, and of course the evaluation will be based on the scores you got in the exam."
"As for the number of points, you will see them inside the watch."
The teacher finished her words before a teacher with beautiful black hair intervened.
"Of course, there will be five minutes where you can exchange points."
"And I want to inform you that any points exchanged after these five minutes will not be counted."
[Danger]
[Beware of this person, he creates enemies for the host]
"Yes, I know that."
Kon Kibel
The teacher in charge of class S and the biggest liar in the game, and also the mid-level villain in the game.
The person who will turn into a demon after Elena rejects him.
Although the boy Elena falls in love with doesn't appear until later in the story, somehow they end up in love just a month after the inter-academy exchange event.
Some already guessed that Elena's lover is not from this school but from another academy.
When I turned to Professor Kon, I couldn't help but be surprised.
"Do most of the academy's students wear these clothes?"
He was wearing a very short T-shirt that showed his stomach, along with very tight jeans.
When I looked at him, I felt a wave of hostility coming toward me, even though I knew the reason for it.
The five boys I eliminated from the test were all his younger brothers.
Even if I had seen them in the exam without them bullying anyone, I would have killed them anyway.
"Hey Kim..."
When I turned, I saw Campbell running toward me.
I waved to him before he reached where I stood.
"Hey Kim, do you know how much I searched for you?"
"..."
"Come on quickly, everyone's waiting for us."
Campbell began speaking before pointing with his hand toward a group of students.
The group consisted of Mary, Sylvia, and Liam.
When I saw Liam, I couldn't hold back my smile.
"Hey Liam..."
I shouted those words before hugging Liam.
"I'm sorry Liam... If I had been a little stronger, you wouldn't have died... crying"
"I'm really sorry... crying"
I felt Liam's body trembling in my arms.
Ah, how relieved I feel...
My beloved Liam, I will make sure to keep my promise to you.
I held Liam's body and hugged him tightly to the point I heard a cracking sound.
"Kim Hyul, can you let go of Liam... I know you don't mean it, but I think he's in pain."
Sylvia looked at us and tried to intervene.
Maybe she thought Liam was uncomfortable, so she stepped in.
"Liam, are you upset?"
"No..."
Liam shook his head and replied in denial.
I laughed, then continued hugging him.
I brought my face close to his ear before whispering:
"Helen is here, and you know what will happen if Sylvia finds out."
Crying...
Liam started crying in my arms.
I looked at my shirt soaked with tears in disgust.
"I'll never use this shirt again."
I muttered under my breath.
"What did you say?"
Mary looked at me puzzled before asking.
"Never mind. We should think about the points now."
Everyone looked at their watches before starting to exchange points.
[Sylvia donated 20 points to Liam]
[Mary donated 5 points to Campbell]
[Kim Hyul donated 5 points to Campbell]
[Liam donated 5 points to Campbell]
And since we faced Crazy George, the academy was generous enough to give each of us five bonus points.
[Time is up]
We all looked at the screen announcing the end of the time limit before another screen replaced it.
[Hello, I am the Academy Director. I send you my greetings.]
[Due to urgent circumstances, I couldn't attend, so please follow your assigned teachers.]
[...Oh, I forgot, you now have a five-day vacation, so good luck!]
The director left those words before the giant screen disappeared.
"Finally, I can rest."
When I tried to leave, I felt someone grabbing the back of my shirt.
I turned to see it was Sylvia.
When I looked at the others, I found they had already left.
Sylvia grabbed my hand before pulling me toward the girls' bathroom.
"Damn it."
End of Chapter
---
I hope you liked this chapter.
I think I might be late in posting during these two weeks and may pause the novel temporarily.
If I can, I promise I will do my best to publish the chapters on time. If I can't, then you know the reason.
The reason is that my university exams have already started, so wish me luck.
Some may ask why I don't publish from the early draft stash,
but I'm sorry to say that the chapters contain many mistakes and therefore I must review them several times before publishing.
See you another day, goodbye.
