After he left, Thea and Anitta continued talking. What do you think about him miss Anitta? What do mean? Can we trust what he said?
I haven't seen the boy since he was a child so I won't tell you to trust him but I will, I want to trust him. And if you wrong? Then so be it, however it is true that he jumped infront of a corrupted to save a child so I don't think he's a bad person.
Thea nodded, about that bloodline question though, do you think he has one? I believe so, I have no idea how he obtained one but it would be impossible for a normal human to do what he did so easily.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Back in his room Ashborn was playing with his blades. After his little trip through town he discovered they weren't actively looking for him, which was a relief, it meant he had time.
He looked at his gun, all six of them were long, not a single short one but they were also different. There were three types actually he just didn't know much about guns.
Of the six three looked the same, they were the type he had been using so far but the other three were different. Two were longer and had thin tubes on the front and the last one was a bit shorter than the other two and had two holes on the front.
He had a feeling those two packed more power than the other three but he still has to test them and so he did. He found out unlike the one he had been using which shoot multiple times a second.
The longer one did pack more power and had a much longer reach but can not shoot as many times in such a short time. The last one was similar but much shorter reach.
However it also packed the most power, it shot multiple small balls like bullets that riddle the target with multiple holes. Satisfied with his experiment he went back home.
Three weeks passed, in these three weeks he had hunted multiple times, sometimes killing multiple beasts a day. His biggest haul was the wolf pack.
He had went back for revenge, turned out there were even more of them but they were weaker than he thought. No wonder they were starving even with their numbers there are very few things they could kill around here.
He had slaughtered most of the pack except a few females and cubs, he was not genocidal, he did want to wipe out the wolf species in these part.
He doubted they would survive though and he didn't care, they were not his problems. He did kill a few of those boars, those things were strong but incredibly stupid.
They were slow as well, atleast for a rank 1 beast, the only thing they had was their defence but with daggers/ swords made from their tusks, it was easy to penetrate their defensive hides.
He had killed over 18 of them in the past three weeks and he now had 38 daggers and a lot of blood points. He didn't find any of the crystal stag beasts though which was a pity.
However he did manage to kill two birds, one of them was pitch black and was more intelligent than most beasts he had met. It realised he was trailing it and pretended to not see then led him to a group of the boars.
All he could do was escape, slow as those things are he was not fighting over 30 of them at one, the worst part was the bird could shoot it feathers like blades.
This would ofcourse not be an issue had it not been for the black flame like aura covering them, it gave the blades a corrosive property.
He had to pretend to be dead to catch it off guard, he wasn't sure if it would notice and fortunately it either thought he was really dead or too wounded to fight back.
It feathers were sticking out of his body like a porcupine after all. Another was a brown feathered bird with a golden beak and claws. Wind danced around it like an obedient child.
It could shoot blades of winds at him that could cut through stone like cloth. That was the hardest creature he had to deal with, even harder than the black one.
The only reason he won was because it was not as smart as the black one who remained in the air and out of reach until he had to trick it.
This one dived down like a bullet which was a huge mistake. He did come out of that fight with multiple broken bones and scratches but he had won.
Status
Name: Ashborn
Rank: 1( bloodline Intergration stage- mid level)
Bloodlines:
- Ash serpent bloodline ( earth grade)
- tree hide boar bloodline (earth grade)
- Dark raven bloodline ( earth grade)
- Sky falcon bloodline ( earth grade)
Blood points: 213
He had used 23 points in total for regeneration and was still left with 213 points. That just showed how much slaughter he had delivered.
Well earth grade bloodlines did give more points, 10 to be exact. System remind me again, how many points would I need to upgrade my bloodline?
( Points required for bloodline upgrade are twice the amount given by the grade the bloodline will evolve to) and how many points does the next grade after earth gives?
( Sky grade is the next grade after earth and it gives 50 blood points upon conversion) 50 blood point, so that means I need 100 points for an upgrade.
Wait how did I just do that, ever since he was a kid he had never been good at maths, infact he could barely read, his mother did try to teach him but he would just run away.
He really missed those days sometimes. So for him to know that 50 times 2 is a 100 without having to spend any time doing calculations was strange.
What even stranger is he knew this was basic maths, barely even counted as maths but before he had to calculate 2 plus 3 with his fingers.
He figured it must be related to one of his bloodlines and he had an idea which one. He would look into that later, for now it was time for an upgrade.
System, how do I upgrade my bloodline? ( Does host wish to upgrade bloodline?) Yes.( Which bloodline does host wish to upgrade?) Ash serpent bloodline.
( Bloodline upgrade initiating) .
