Chapter 3 - Whispers of the Sage – The Forbidden Past

Chapter 3

"To understand why the gods kneel… you must first know what they fear."

---

🌑 A Sage in Hiding

In the farthest reaches of Vael'Torak's shattered edge, a sage cloaked in silence and time opens a sealed scroll a scroll bound in flesh of starbeasts, inked in aura so old it saps the light from the air.

He speaks to no one… yet all realms tremble at his words:

> "Long ago… before the realms were born… there was only one will."

> "A being who did not ascend to power… because he was never beneath it."

> "He did not take dominion… because everything already belonged to him."

> "They called him nothing… because even his name shattered languages."

---

🕯️ The Mysterious Man

The sage describes him:

A man with black hair, eyes like eternity folded into a stare, who walked the realms unnoticed…

Not because he hid, but because the world itself refused to acknowledge something so far beyond comprehension.

His aura wasn't cultivated. It was harvested from collapsing realities, from forgotten gods, from the echoes of the void.

> "He does not train. He does not rest. He simply exists... And in his existence, even the stars shiver."

The sage reveals the MC's technique:

Aura Farming: A forbidden process that draws power not from self, but from the suppressed will of everything else—fear, chaos, time, and even divinity itself.

He is like a black hole cloaked in a smile.

While other gods meditate in seclusion to grasp divinity, the MC passively grows more powerful just by being near battle, tragedy, or imbalance.

His aura is no longer farming… it's consumption.

📜 Hidden History

> "The gods once challenged him… They unleashed the First Cataclysm to erase his name."

> "He walked into their war... and spoke one word. The sky split. Six gods disappeared."

> "But he left. Not in victory. Not in vengeance."

> "He left because if he had stayed… the realms would not survive his wrath."

The sage looks out from his temple, his body cracking from the sheer truth he carries. He smiles bitterly.

> "And now… they've disturbed him again."

---

Meanwhile…

In Ignira, Neria the Flameblade senses it. Her blade trembles. Her fire dimmed.

In Zephyros, Kaelion suddenly sees a memory that isn't his—a man standing in a void, looking down at the universe.

> "...Who is he…?"

"Is that… a god?"

"No. It's something else."

And in the deepest sealed chamber of Oblivion, the forgotten gods whisper.

> "He has moved…"

---

The False Threat Rises

Suddenly, a new entity emerges—Erazal, Warden of the Lost Realm.

Shrouded in planetary armor, he speaks:

> "I fear no god. But I fear the man… they erased."

He sets out to challenge the gods—to warn them.

> "If he speaks again… none of us will remain to hear it."
