Everyone watched as Ayla took off her necklace, earrings, and shoes, handing them to the clerk along with her handbag.
Only then did the crowd disperse, going back to their seats like nothing just happened.
"She can't keep her shoes? How do you expect her to walk?" Elena immediately frowned hard when Ayla for her shoes.
"She should be grateful we're letting her keep her clothes on!" The clerk hissed, stuffing everything into a drawer, then locking it with a key.
Afterward, he proceeded to add Ayla's bet, but upon seeing the amount, Elena's eyes twinkled mischievously and she turned toward Ayla, her eyes still pitiful.
"Sister, don't you think your bet is too little? I mean, you're so sure, you gave away everything expensive you have on you, but don't you think the money you're betting with is too little?"
She glanced around warily, then stepped toward Ayla, whispering, "Think about it. If you do win, you'll be able to go home with hundreds of millions."
