Silas got to the office fuming.
Standing outside the building, he pressed down on his chest, deeply inhaling and exhaling several times until he was calm.
Then he stepped toward the entrance. By the time he went through the revolving door, his furrowed brows had grown relaxed and the deep frown on his face had melted away.
As usual, he tried to wave the staffs he saw on the way, but for some reason, many of them kept their distance, peering at him from a distance before they turned to whisper something to their neighbor.
