Chapter 1 - Elina - The Guardian of Two Worlds

Elina - The Guardian of Two Worlds

Elina was a curious and imaginative young girl living in a quiet, peaceful village surrounded by thick

forests. One sunny afternoon, as she wandered through the woods near her home, something

strange caught her eye - a soft shimmer high up in an old tree. Without hesitation, she climbed the

tree, heart pounding with excitement. When she reached the top, she found what appeared to be a

feather, but it shimmered unnaturally. It was not from any bird she knew. Holding it in her hand, she

felt a warmth and faint vibration, as though it were alive.

Driven by curiosity, Elina rushed to the village's public library to investigate. She searched through

the dusty shelves until she found an old, glowing book titled "The Wings of Two Worlds." As she

opened it, mysterious golden letters floated off the page, forming questions in the air: "What does it

mean?" "Who should I return this to?" "What happens if I don't?" Shocked, she dropped the book. A

librarian scolded her to be quiet. Nodding silently, she picked the book back up and moved to a

quiet corner.

As she flipped the pages again, her pet parrot Stekk - who had been with her since childhood -

suddenly appeared beside her and spoke, startling her. He reminded her that her mother was

waiting for her at the grocery store. Elina's heart filled with worry, but her determination overpowered

it. That night, she packed her backpack with essentials and left her home, setting off on a quest she

didn't fully understand.

The glowing book led her through the forest, its light illuminating a narrow path. Deeper in the

woods, she saw a bright light in the distance. As she moved toward it, the darkness faded. There

stood an old woman, holding a piece of a glowing wing. The woman smiled and beckoned her

forward. Though suspicious, Elina followed. Suddenly, a tall old man appeared behind her, pointing a glass-like knife at her head.

Terrified, Elina turned to the woman, who remained calm. The woman pulled out a glowing bowl of

magical dust and instructed Elina to place the wing inside. Confused and scared, Elina refused.

From inside her backpack, she heard Stekk crying. Her hands shook, and her eyes welled up with

tears. When she said "No," the woman's calm demeanor vanished. Her face twisted in rage. "How

dare you defy me?! Griff, stab her!" the woman shouted.

Griff lunged, but Elina backed away just in time. The wing in her hand touched the old woman's

fingers. A scream echoed through the trees as the wing burned her. In the chaos, Stekk broke free

and began harassing Griff. Elina seized the real wing and ran into the forest. The woman's fake wing

turned to ashes. Guided by the book, she found a glowing map leading deeper into the forest.

As she followed the path, the darkness lifted completely. A gentle light enveloped the clearing, and a

beautiful woman appeared. She held another piece of the wing and, using magic, attached it to the

one Elina already had. The wings floated into the air and affixed themselves to Elina's back. She

flapped them once and lifted off the ground, laughing in delight. The woman joined her, and together

they soared through the clouds to a hidden village high in the sky.

The village was home to fairies, who welcomed Elina with open arms. They treated her like one of

their own. She lived there and began learning their magical arts. There were five core magics in their

world - four of which she mastered quickly. But the fifth, the most powerful and mysterious one,

eluded her. It was said to awaken only through deep emotional connection.

One day, as she wandered through the village, she came across murals depicting the past rulers

and guardians. One fairy told her that a previous guardian had failed to master the fifth magic. Theguardian's eyes in the mural looked eerily familiar - they were the same as the old woman in the

forest. Curious, Elina went to the historical library to learn more.

There, she found a book that seemed to know everything about her - even her life before she

arrived in the magical realm. As she read, her hands began to glow. Ancient symbols appeared on

her skin, and a crystal embedded itself in her forehead. She had finally unlocked the fifth power: The

Song of Silence - a magic awakened by pure empathy and compassion.

Elina knew she had to use her power to help the cursed guardian - Elenara. The book warned her

not to go. Stekk tried to stop her, but she left anyway. As she exited the castle, the ruling woman

watched her from the window and whispered, "You can do it, girl."

Elina returned to the forest and found Elenara. The once-feared woman was weakened. "You can

save me, but you'll have to give me your wings," Elenara said. Elina hesitated. Instead of sacrificing

the wings, she began to sing.

Her voice - soft, clear, and filled with emotion - awakened something inside Elenara. Her eyes

glowed. Memories of her life, her family, and her people flooded back. Slowly, she transformed into

a young, beautiful fairy again.

They hugged. "Can we go back?" Elina asked. Elenara nodded, and together they flew back to the

hidden village. The fairies and the ruling woman were waiting for them. Tears streamed down

Elenara's cheeks. "I'm so sorry for disappearing," she said. The woman embraced her, thanking

Elina.

A second parrot flew down from the sky and landed on Elenara's shoulder. It spoke - it was Griff, theman who had once threatened Elina. He, too, had been cursed.

As the village celebrated with music and laughter, Elina's heart wandered. She thought of her

mother. Elenara gave her a beautiful pearl and told her to gaze into it. Elina saw her mother

sleeping peacefully, just like in the vision.

Elina asked, "How?" Elenara explained, "You can go back if you wish. But once you do, you can

never return. This world must remain hidden. We trust you will keep its secret."

Tears welled in Elina's eyes. "I want to go back," she whispered. Elenara took her hand. "I'll be here.

Don't worry." That night, the book glowed one last time: "Please don't go back."

Elina fainted and awoke in her own bed. Stekk was there. He insisted it was just a dream. The

magic book was gone. Elina ran to the forest. The place where she had once met the light-bearing

woman was dark and empty.

Kneeling down, she cried. "Please... I have a job to do. Let me go back." Nothing happened. The

wind dried her tears. She clutched the silver feather she still had and whispered:

"RIGHT. WE WILL MEET AGAIN."

Somewhere far away, Elenara stood at the edge of the clouds, whispering:

"We'll meet again, my Guardian. When the time is right."
