: *{The Next Day} { Nicole's POV}
I woke feeling already so excited that I woke up even before the alarm rang.
Yesterday, I didn't expect kaiden to come visit me in my room, I could still remember how breathtaking he looked in his suit and to top it all when he was close to me , his intoxicating perfume took my entire sense organ which made me not to think properly for a lot of minutes but as always am way to scare to cross my bonderies .
I quickly went to freshen up and get dressed without the maids this time, I felt impatient so I couldn't wait till they came.
After tieing my dread into a ponytail, I went straight to my new phone kaiden bought.
I dialed a number I memorized over a long period of time in case of emergencies, the call rang for a few seconds before it was picked.
" Hello" auntie Selena said from over the line. Gosh it felt so good to hear her voice once more again.
" Good morning Auntie selena, this is nicole" i said already feeling the tear that is soon going to drop.
" Nicole...oh my goodness, how are you, how are you doing? are you fine where ever you are? hope you are not hurt? I didn't know how to reach you when I heard the things that happened to you" Aunt Selena said with voice full with worry.
" Auntie...am fine, am not hurt am fine" I couldn't hold my tears back any longer and I started crying.
" I didn't expect those people to do such a thing to someone who doesn't deserve it, Nicole I'm so sorry I couldn't be of any help to you and your situation, please for give me " Aunt Selena said also already crying.
" You don't have to apologise to me auntie, uncle Rowan was the one who didn't care whether I live or die.... those family sold me auntie for my fate to become a prostitute and in exchange for money, I begged them so much and pleaded with all I've got they still didn't listen to me... *Sob**sob* "
" So sorry for all that is happening, when I got to the house of your uncle, I was told by mrs ark that you no longer live there and you have started another brand new life, I was confused at first until Lyra stated in mockery that you have been sold because they don't need you anymore, I couldn't believe that they just sold you without thinking...that family would surely pay for the things that they did against you" auntie Selena explained still in a sober state.
' _of course it would be Lyra who would talk that way and expose them in front of auntie Selena.'_
" I hate them so much auntie, everytime I think about it, I wish I could just die" I said crying
" Don't say that Nicole, please, I would blame my self forever if more pain is added to your life, how are you coping where you are, hope you are not hurt my dear"
" No auntie..." I said explaining all the scenerio getting to Kansas and kaiden in my life, it felt good talking about my feelings and letting it all out of my chest, I just needed comfort at that moment.
" Really....so that Mr Morgan didn't make you work for their hotel and sent you to someone else thinking you would be his concubine, I'm relief that you aren't hurt....it seems that kaiden must be really a nice guy"
" Yes aunty, he is" I said smiling at my self remembering all his sweet gestures.
" Hmmmm....I just thought about this.... can't kaiden free you, out of humanity, so now that you are no longer in your uncle's chains, maybe kaiden can let you go with his good heart that he has " auntie Selena said to me as a suggestion.
Though it seem like a good idea but it didn't seat right with me because kaiden has actually cared for me and had did nothing to hurt me and now I feel bad but I too really want to be set free from everyone and start my own new life.
" Maybe auntie....I would ask him and hope he agrees" I said closing my eyes already seeing that contactable smile of kaiden.
" We hope so too" auntie Selena said.
" How is andy....is she there with you?" I asked, I missed that little chatter box.
" No.. actually am at work, am currently in day shift today, andy must be at home, am sure she misses you a lot.... the girl cryed a lot when she heard the news about you" auntie Selena said.
" I miss her too.... I miss both of you a lot "
" Me too.... Nicole I need you to take care of yourself over there, please stay strong okay.....I will talk to you later.....I have to go attend to a patient, so bye for now" auntie Selena said with her calm voice.
" Okay...I understand, bye auntie" I said and the call was ended on the other end.
I would talk to kaiden about me wanting to leave and start a fresh...the maids came and seeing me already prepared, they just served me food instead and styled my Dread. After I was done eating, I asked a maid to take me to kaiden's room to meet him only to hear he's not in the mansion and they don't know when he is going to come back. I felt sad that am not gonna meet him anytime soon.

{ *Kaiden's POV}*
Waking up this morning felt like i was supposed to go into hibernation but see me now in this ceremony talking to people I don't feel like talking to.
" Mr krex, I heard your family is opening another hundred million dollar company in Canada which is the hottest headline on the news" mr woodson said.
The Humans and the Linxs who fulled this party are mostly wealthy and high class, to be more precised stinky Rich and I'm proud to say am apart but they are also so boring, which am not. They mostly just talk about money, business, fame, and accomplishment and not to forget money gossips.
" Yeah.... but this time around it's my father opening the business and not me since he is the one practically in Canada" I said already feeling bored with this topic with this overly aged linx who is just trying to get connected with my family for many of his interior motives. I excused my self after the talk was done and went to sit at one of the table.
:' _I wish I wasn't here...why am I here , this place is way so not interesting...even your grandmother burial was filled with real emotions which is better than this one that people are meant to give fake smiles for pretty appearance while deep down they are as ugly as shit':_ my acient snow lion said grumbling
' _yeah....I would totally skip this place right now to go to a club_ ' I said in my mind

_It's my friend Anderson, wow, am happy to see him here, at least I can be able to chill without someone less freaky in their mind set._ I stood up from my seat and went over to go meet him, as soon as he spotted me ....he left whoever he was talking too to come great me instead.
" Hi men..... how are you? It's been long since we last saw" Anderson said smiling me.
Anderson is a human, he is a pure african and a kind person who just like his peace of mind, I first met him my final year in college and since then we have been friends, but because of business nowadays everyone seems so busy.....in this world, the link feels overly superior to the humans because of their beast lion's form but this guy don't freaking care and gives back the same attitude when needed and maybe that's why I got to like him more.
"Am fine Anderson.....yeah it has been long....how have you been?" I returned his question to him.
" Men am cool but right now, I feel like ditching this place, I can't help but doze off while standing.....this place is meant for the old age " he said frowning.
" Hahaha ..... and I thought I was the only one feeling like this .... not knowing I have a partner on the same ship hahaha"i said laughing.
" Like seriously men...I didn't want to come because all this stuffs are always boring, I can't imagine if I were to miss a season premiere of my favorite sport for coming to a place people over dress to show how much money they have, I mean like dude we can already see it with the rented cars they parked outside" Anderson said still looking annoyed. I couldn't help but laugh hard, now I know the many other reasons I like Anderson.
" Yeah, like for real men .... everyone is just fake... I too didn't want to come because of their over dramatic high class people" I said laughing.
I and Anderson talked till our heart content before a lady who happens to be a linx walked up to us with a smile on her face.
" Good afternoon gentle men, I am the daughter of mr and mrs desmond, my name is anaya, I hope you both are enjoying your time here" she said in her most polite voice.
" Yeah we are, nice meeting you anaya " Anderson was the one to talk in the process of shaking her hand. I didn't feel like talking to this desmond daughter who looked like she was expecting of me to notice her from the beginning of this party.

.{ *Anaya's POV}*
Earlier at the ceremony when I set my eyes on the krex family only son., I immediately felt butterflies in my stomach, he looks absolutely charming and handsome. But after some time we locked eye contact, I expected him to have come ask me for a dance or even talk to me but he just totally ignored me with his phone.
My time was spent with other men I was introduced too who would be suitable to get married too but my mind wasn't on any of them but kaiden krex.
My mother found me on my own and pasuaded me to go make a move first at him even though normally it is men who are the one that come to me first but I had an aim and my aim is for kaiden to notice me .
I went over to were kaiden was talking with a human to go great him but I didn't expect the human to be talking to me now instead of kaiden that which is totally making me unhappy.
" Uhmmm....mr kaiden,do you mind having a dance with me" I said making a first move to gain his attention from his phone.
" Uh....me .... No, I'm fine" he said and went back to his phone and even this other guy he was talking too ignored me immediately and started chatting with someone on his phone too. I felt like crying, I mean who even uses their phone like addicts in an occasion like this, I even felt more embarrassed because people around heard me asking for a dance and also heard the blunt reject.
" Uhmmm... okay mr kaiden , I would be taking my leave now" I said as the only way to escape from futher embarrassment and I left.

{ *Back to kaiden's POV}*
' _Finally she's gone, at least if my dad ask, I did talk to her ..... but in my own way._
" Dumb linx.... good riddance" Anderson said while rolling his eyes.
" Yep..... wanna ditch this place and leave" I said to him , I just want to get back home right now to rest my head.
" You don't need to ask me twice, am already out of here" Anderson said.
I enjoyed my time with this guy. We said our good byes and left the desmond mansion.
When I got back home, I went straight to my room to freshen up and go straight to bed even though the sun was still up in the sky but in this home.....I don't know when day or night reach because I like my room always looking like night time. I took out the necklace from my drawer to remember about that person and I just like how the way the necklace looked. Maybe the girl I saw may be apart of the other side of the earth, the monarchy side of the earth. The earth has two part in this realm, and that is the democratic modern part which is the part I live in and the monarchical part where kings and queens and castles still exist which dominate that part of the world. Which makes me to wonder whether the girl comes from there since she wears a Vail like some sort of culture.

{ *Nicole POV}*
I was reading a book I asked of which the maid brought it too me. I was so engrossed with the book when a maid came knocking to tell me about something.
" Ma'am ,I was sent by butler gabriel to tell you that master kaiden approved you to see him" she said and I immediately felt happy hearing his news of arrival.
" Okay" I said and she led me to kaiden's room to see him
She knocked on the door and kaiden answered her from inside the room for her to open.
" Sir, I have brought Madam Nicole" she said and left as soon as kaiden waved her to leave with his hands.
Kaiden was working on his laptop on his bed at that moment.
" Good afternoon kaiden" I greeted him and saw him look up from his laptop to smile at me.
" Hello Nicole, come sit, I heard you wanted to speak with me" he said.
I moved closer to his bed and sat down. I can already feel a neddle prick my conscience because of the thing am about to say to him.
" Uhmmm....kaiden... can I ask something from thing from you?"
" Sure Nicole" he replied patiently to me. My eyes drifted from my laps to look at him when my eyes spotted something familiar on the drawer. _Isn't that my long Lost necklace, how did it get here?_
Kaiden followed my eye sight to see what I was looking at.
"Uh, is that my necklace?" I asked without realizing the words has already come out of my mouth
" Necklace? Am not sure who owns this , there was a time I travelled and I later on found this necklace on my suit later that night, and since then I have kept this necklace" he said explaining to me.
" Really?" I asked with my eyes wide.
" Yeah.... wait.... I found this necklace at new Jersey and is it possible you were at the opening of one of my companies" kaiden asked wanting to clear his doubt from his facial expression
" It was auntie Selena who took me there on my birthday that evening and I didn't know how I Lost this necklace" I said with my usual low voice.
" Oh really....so you were the one who bumped into me that evening..." Kaiden said.
" I'm not sure who I bumped into " I said because I didn't see that person's face who I bumped into that night.
" But you were wearing a Vail that night?" He asked.
" Yes I wore a Vail that night" I said.
_Then was it actually kaiden I bumped into thay night.....he was the Snow Lion I didn't get to see .. thank goodness I didn't loose my necklace for good and I later got to see the unknown snow lion._
" Wow, you don't know how happy I am.... I finally found you.....and I couldn't figure it out that you were in front of me all this time" kaiden said closing his laptop and dropping it from his stretch laps onto the bed. He stretch his hand holding the necklace towards me to take with a beaming smile on his face.
" Thank you so much" I said, I didn't mean for my voice to come out as a whisper. I looked at my necklace which had it's half moon as the pendance, I had to put it close to my chest because of how I missed it.
" It's my pleasure Nicole, I'm glad we met that night even if we were not entitled to introduce ourselves to each other," kaiden said and I smiled as a gesture of appreciation. Now I feel bad , I don't think I have the heart anymore to tell kaiden that I want to go away.
" Would you like to go out with me?" I heard the sudden question.
" To where?" I asked him.
" Up the Hills, trust me, it's gonna be fun" he said grabbing my hand and led me out of the mansion's into his car, I couldn't help to blush because of the contact of both our hands.
