Chapter 4 - Chapter04:Mission Complete

"Everything is ready," Adarsh said quietly. His voice carried a weight of finality. "I'm about to use the last of my Divine Power to cleanse your body of poison. After that... I will merge my Blood Lotus body into your womb."

He gazed at Iram Roy with solemn eyes. "During this process, your body and soul will experience unbearable pain. Steel yourself."

Iram Roy nodded silently and sat cross-legged in the heart of her spiritual realm, her figure poised like a dormant lotus.

Drawing a breath, I summoned a fragment of my Divine Power and, with my Blood Lotus body, entered the royal palace's innermost chamber. There, I infused 0.5% of my dwindling Divine Power into Iram Roy's body, initiating the purification.

The poison was a dark, bluish venom that slithered through her veins like a living curse, steadily corroding her blood cells. It gnawed tiny holes into her bones, causing her marrow to seep out and fuse with the toxin, making it ever more lethal.

As soon as my Divine Power entered her body, the poison flared in violent resistance. Yet before the purity of my Divine energy, it stood no chance.

Patiently, I began to extract the venom from her vessels, separating it thread by thread. At the same time, I mended the hollowed-out bones, weaving them whole again with Divine threads.

Each moment brought excruciating agony. Iram Roy's body trembled uncontrollably, as if her soul itself were being torn apart. Yet through this suffering, her body began its rapid recovery.

When all the poison was finally drawn out, I condensed it into a small sphere. Dark green smoke curled off its surface, but I swiftly sealed it within a Divine globe, preventing even a wisp from escaping. The poison solidified, forming a sinister, pill-like object.

There's no time to waste, I thought grimly. I must complete the mission now.

Channeling all my remaining Divine Power, I transformed my Blood Lotus body into a single droplet of blood. The lotus petals melted away, coalescing into a crimson bead. As it condensed further, the blood began to shimmer, turning into pure gold. The golden droplet radiated a light so intense that it seemed to transcend the material world itself.

In that radiant form, I entered Iram Roy's womb and merged with the nascent zygote.

At last, I had fulfilled my mission — to be born anew as a human.

Perhaps it was destiny that allowed me to complete this task, I reflected with a faint sigh. Without it, success would have been impossible.

Opening my system panel, I saw the mission update:

> [Mission Update]

[Mission: Use Divine Power to be born as a human (Completed)]

[Reward: Control Power]

A new power — Control Power — had been bestowed upon me. Yet I barely had time to comprehend what it was, for a darkness began to creep over my senses.

I'm losing consciousness, I realized. Until my soul's energy replenishes, I won't awaken again.

With no other choice, I sat in a lotus position within my spiritual realm, severed my connection to the outside world, and allowed myself to sink into silence.

Maybe after my birth, I thought dimly, my soul will recover enough to awaken once more.

With that final thought, my consciousness faded.

Meanwhile, deep within her soul realm, Iram Rai was locked in a battle of agony and rebirth.

The process of purging the poison tore at her spirit, as if she were dying and reviving over and over again. The agony was unthinkable — each heartbeat felt like it might be her last. Yet she gritted her teeth and endured.

As long as I survive, she vowed, I can reclaim my vengeance.

Memories of betrayal burned within her, fueling an unbreakable will. Her soul energy surged, growing stronger, thicker, denser — until finally, it brushed against something vast and ancient: the very laws of the world.

It's happening, she realized, the moment of Soul Transformation!

Closing her eyes, she stretched out her senses. The world itself responded.

The key to my law has always been Ice, she reflected. That's why I built my palace here, in a hidden kingdom carved from purest ice. This place was destined for me.

Her unique constitution — an Ice Body, paired with an Ice Spirit Root — had merged into the legendary Moon Body, accelerating her comprehension of the Ice Law.

I could have reached Soul Transformation long ago, she thought bitterly, but the one I trusted most betrayed me.

She remembered the cruel betrayal — how they had tried to tear the Ice Soul Bone from her body. She still didn't fully understand why they wanted it. Perhaps she never would.

But the Immortal Seal — a life-saving treasure gifted by a sister-like friend — had activated at the brink of death. The seal split her Soul Bone into two halves: one stolen, one remaining inside her. Though this weakened her, it had saved her life.

And then, she realized, that child's Divine Power changed everything.

The divine energy had seeped into her broken Soul Bone, strengthening it. Now, a new phenomenon had awakened within her — white flames, colder than the deepest winter, burned within her bones.

Thanks to those flames, her comprehension of the Ice Law had increased fivefold compared to before. A rare smile touched her lips — a smile of cold, determined joy.

Gathering all her will, she threw herself into the Ice Law's embrace.

At her command, the scattered laws of Ice began to coalesce at the back of her mind. Compressing them with her soul force, she created a vortex of cold so pure that even the air froze solid.

Around her, the very walls of the hidden realm thickened, the ice becoming harder, stronger — a fortress of frozen eternity. Her body, encased within it, began to drink in the cold energy.

The strength of her Ice Soul Bone grew. The white cold flames spread from bone to bone, until her entire skeleton turned a brilliant, translucent jade, radiating a soft, chilling light.

Her flesh followed, absorbing essence after essence, becoming tougher and denser than mortal skin. A layer of milky-white ice formed atop her, acting as an armor gifted by the very laws she now commanded.

Through it all, her body and soul wove together — a single being rising beyond mortality.

At last, she stood at the threshold of the Soul Transformation stage.

Yet something gnawed at her.

She could feel it — the hidden ice realm she had relied on was running out of Ice Laws. Her breakthrough was incomplete, and she needed more.

To complete the transformation, she realized grimly, I must connect this hidden realm to the outer main realm.

But doing so would expose her.

In the outer realm, powerful cultivators prowled like wolves, ever watchful. They would not permit a rival to break through. They would attack, steal, devour — without mercy.

Iram Rai hesitated, her heart heavy with the weight of the decision.

If only I had a Heaven and Earth treasure... she thought bitterly. Then I could finish this safely, without relying on the Ice Laws of the outside world.
