Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: A Tangle of Hearts R18(mild)

Rina stared at the steamed mirror, her hands clutching the sink's edge as she took deep, shaky breaths. Her body still tingled from the dream the night before — every thrust, every whisper, every moan echoing in her head.

It was just a dream… just a stupid dream…

But her soaked panties and racing heart said otherwise.

She wasn't supposed to feel this way. Teasing her brother-in-law had started as harmless fun. A way to challenge him, mess with him, maybe even assert a little dominance. But last night had changed everything.

Her body now craved the real thing.

No. She shook her head.

He was her sister's husband.

And yet…

The image of his strong arms pinning her down…

The memory of his warm breath on her fingers…

The sensation of being filled, taken, owned—

Rina gasped and slammed her eyes shut.

I have to go.

She grabbed her bag, tossed her essentials into it, and scribbled a quick note on the fridge:

> "Had to head back to the dorm early. Group assignment came up. I'll visit again next weekend! ♡ – Rina"

She didn't even say goodbye in person. She couldn't.

Because if she looked into Rikuto's eyes again… she might not be able to stop herself.

As the front door clicked shut, Rikuto, came into the kitchen, looked toward the sound.

"She's gone?" Aya yawned beside him.

"Yeah," Rikuto muttered, watching the fridge note with narrowed eyes.

He could feel it.

Something was shifting.

---

Reina's side

Across the city, Reina Hoshino sat at her dressing table, brushing her hair in long, measured strokes.

She hadn't visited since that night she stayed over — and the time when she accidentally walked in on Rikuto in just a towel. Since then, she'd kept her distance, not even answering Aya's casual invites.

Because Reina had realized something horrifying.

She wanted him.

Not like a curious woman admiring a man's charm.

But as a woman aching for touch.

She hated herself for it. Hated how her eyes traced his arms, his broad shoulders, the slight dip of his collarbone. She hated how her thighs pressed together at the memory of that moment.

He's your son-in-law, you disgusting woman.

She gritted her teeth, applying lipstick with too much pressure, smudging the edge.

You're a widow. A mother. You shouldn't even—

But the image came back.

Him walking out of the shower.

His skin dripping.

The towel slung low, his toned abs rising and falling with each breath…

She dropped the lipstick and buried her face in her hands.

"No… not again…"

But her body already betrayed her.

Her thighs clenched.

Her breath quickened.

And once again, she was at war with herself.

---

Back at home, Aya stirred a pot in the kitchen with a soft hum. Something in her heart told her to do more. Rikuto had been so sweet lately — helping around the house, complimenting her when she didn't expect it. She still didn't know what changed after that first month of their marriage, but she felt lucky.

Still… she wanted to make him happy.

Completely.

That night, as Rikuto lay in bed reading on his phone, Aya slipped under the blanket beside him.

Her petite frame curled close to him.

He glanced down. "Tired?"

"Mm-hmm. But before I sleep…" She reached for the waistband of his shorts, hesitating just a little. Her cheeks were pink, but she didn't pull back.

Rikuto raised an eyebrow. "Aya?"

"I just… want to do something for you. Let me?" Her voice was soft but sincere.

He nodded silently, putting his phone aside.

She smiled and slowly slid under the blanket, pulling the waistband down.

Her warm breath hit him first, sending a light tremor through his body.

Then her soft lips wrapped gently around his rising dragon.

Warm, wet, hesitant at first… but full of affection.

Her small hands held his thighs as she bobbed her head in a slow, sweet rhythm. She wasn't experienced — he could tell — but she gave it her all. Occasionally, she'd glance up through the blanket, cheeks flushed and eyes watery from the effort.

He groaned low. "Aya… you're amazing…"

She moaned softly, her vibrations adding waves of pleasure.

After a few more strokes, he gasped, reaching for her head — not to push, just to feel her.

And then he released — deep inside her mouth.

She coughed lightly, pulling away and licking the corners of her lips shyly. "Did… I do okay?"

"You did perfect," he whispered, pulling her up and kissing her forehead.

She curled against him, heart full.

"I'm tired now," she murmured.

He chuckled. "Sleep well, love."

They fell asleep side by side — her head on his chest, his arm around her waist.

But Rikuto's thoughts drifted elsewhere.

To Rina's sudden departure…

To Reina's silence…

To the system's quiet glow pulsing in his mind.

This is only the beginning.
