Synopsis
This is an alternative character generator I've come up with based off of Dice based character creation. I've seen and heard many people say they have a story in their head and don't know where to start it. For me, I find its easier to tell a story with a character in mind. In addition to that, a lot of authors write themselves into corners and can't always find a decent workaround to keep their story going. R.O.B. 37 uses a Save/Load mechanic to help avoid those situations. R.O.B. 38 prefers a Live. Die. Repeat approach and honor based lick roles (as in the author roles a dice and then has to write the results of that action). This is similar to how a traditional DnD tabletop game goes. Now, obviously the Dungeon Master (writer) can make things more difficult or easier, they understand that at times a character needs to die or grow. What's more this outline can be used for a majority of character templates for a variety of builds within the Isekai genre. Reincarnation or Transmigration (on death). Forced transmigration (summoned to another world, woke up in the world of the game I was playing, etc.). Accidentally in another world (Re: Zero, Alice in Wonderland types, Wizard of Oz, etc.). Maybe you've already got a character figured out. What about a custom antagonist for them to strive against? What happens when 2 or more characters with the same starting opportunities have to work either against each other or with others who have the same knowledge of the world that they do? R.O.B. 38 is a fantastic way to see what could happen when meta knowledge clashes with personal power fantasy.
