Carlos took a deep breath—he felt like he was being treated as "prey."
As if realizing her movements were a bit much, Sabina's red lips parted slightly, breathing out sweet perfume.
"Big sister was just stretching a little—didn't bother you, did I, little Carlos?"
Carlos didn't take the bait with Sabina's words, instead cutting straight to the chase.
"I came here to trade Blood Bat intel with you, Lady."
After speaking, Carlos carefully watched Sabina's face to read her reaction to this whole thing.
Who would've thought Sabina's gorgeous brow would actually scrunch up a bit.
Carlos thought this was bad news—had she already found Blood Bats? Was he too late to the party?

You're still calling me 'Lady'!"
That's right—Sabina was actually ticked off about how he was addressing her.
Hearing this, Carlos griped internally:
