Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Chat Group Rules

"Huh? Wings? What's that supposed to mean?" asked the young nun from Mount Heng, puzzled.

"I don't really get it either. But a harem chat group? I think I understand what harem means. Either way, it doesn't matter anymore whether it's some illusion or a real chat group. I'm going to die anyway." A very miserable Uchiha.

"Miserable Uchiha benefactor, are you all right? Are you hurt? I'll go find Master right away and ask her for Heavenly Fragrance Restoration Paste and White Cloud Bear Gallbladder Pills!" said the concerned little nun from Mount Heng.

"No need. There's no saving me now. Not even the best medical ninja in the ninja world, Tsunade, can do anything. My internal organs are crushed and missing, my limbs severed, eyes gouged out, ears deafened by poison, and my tongue has been cut out… There's nothing left to save. Damn you, Shimura Danzo!" said the miserable Uchiha.

"What?! That's… that's horrible!" The little nun, who had been about to go ask her master for healing medicine, was dumbfounded. She began to chant scripture aloud, praying to the Bodhisattva to save the miserable Uchiha benefactor.

Kevin Cross was stunned reading this "miserable Uchiha" message. He was also confused who exactly was this Uchiha? To have suffered such torture? And then she mentioned Shimura Danzo. It was obvious he was the one responsible.

"Are you really that badly injured? Who are you? What's your name?" Kevin couldn't help but ask.

"You invited me into this so-called harem chat group, and you don't know who I am?" replied the miserable Uchiha.

"I'm the group admin, sure, but I honestly don't know much about this group either. It just appeared. But going by the usual 'golden finger' trope, this chat group should be able to save you otherwise, why would it have pulled you in?" said Kevin.

"It can save me?" Izumi Uchiha was skeptical. She had long since lost the will to live. The torment she had endured had already shattered her spirit. The only reason she was even able to speak coherently in the chat group was because it had, in some small way, soothed her broken mind.

"I think so," Kevin said, though he wasn't entirely sure. He decided to ask the chat group directly if it could save this "miserable Uchiha." He had no idea whether the group would respond at all.

To his surprise, the chat group actually did respond or more accurately, he finally noticed a kind of "user manual" for the group.

Harem Chat Group

Created based on Kevin Cross's initial intent, though it might've started as a joke or a whim, it nevertheless reflected certain truths buried in his heart.

Its purpose was to build a harem that spanned across all worlds and realms.

Thus, the chat group's function was specifically to help Kevin Cross form his multiversal harem.

Anyone who became a member of his harem would gain access to the benefits granted by the chat group: healing of injuries, restoration of lost body parts, power-ups, and more.

In return, for every woman he added to his harem, Kevin would acquire all of her power.

Of course, the chat group operated on mutual consent. Physical and emotional closeness, intimacy, and relationship depth were all essential elements.

Once the relationship between a woman and Kevin reached a certain threshold, she could receive a corresponding reward something of value to her, which could be anything.

Kevin hadn't expected the chat group to function like this. It was a very different setup compared to the typical chat-group-themed novels he'd read before crossing over.

But he wasn't exactly against the idea. After all, what man would refuse beautiful women throwing themselves at him? Especially considering he was almost thirty before he crossed over and had never even had a girlfriend. So, he was quite honest with himself he really did want a beautiful girlfriend. Or maybe a few. Or more. Otherwise, it wouldn't be called a harem chat group.

Announcement: Important Notice. All Members Must Read!

Kevin posted the group rules directly into the chat.

The other two group members reacted differently upon reading them.

"Group… group leader, I'm a nun. I… I can't do this. I must've joined the wrong group. I… I'll leave. I'm leaving this chat group," said the little nun from Mount Heng in a panic.

"Leave? Why?" asked Kevin.

"I… I'm a nun! The Bodhisattva will be angry!" she stammered.

"No, no, you must understand. Even in the Pure Land of the West, sure, there are eight hundred lonely arhats, but Buddhism also includes the practice of Blissful Tantra," said Kevin.

"Blissful Tantra? B-but-but…" the little nun stuttered, unable to articulate her thoughts clearly, her forehead breaking into a sweat.

On Mount Heng, the young nun beside her noticed her sweating and asked with concern what was wrong.

"I-I need to see Master," she said, and ran off. She planned to tell her master everything.

"Yilin, you're saying there's a chat group in your mind? And it's a harem chat group?" Master Serena Tranquil frowned. She didn't want to believe Yilin's words, but she had raised Yilin from a child and knew her character well. Yilin would never lie.

So, whether the harem chat group was real or not, one thing was clear Yilin herself truly believed she'd seen it.

Was this a sign Yilin was growing up? Reaching puberty? Or was someone playing tricks on her using some kind of magic?

In the end, Master Serena Tranquil concluded it must be the last one. She was a devout Buddhist and believed in the Bodhisattva, but a digital chat group? That was beyond belief. Her expression darkened as she ordered her disciples to search the mountain for intruders…

And thus, a stir began in the Mount Heng Sect.

Meanwhile, in the world of Naruto, Izumi Uchiha looked at the so-called harem chat group rules and found it all laughable. For someone on the verge of death, encountering something like this seemed absurd. Whether it was real or not, she didn't know genjutsu users were plentiful in the ninja world. Maybe someone was just using an illusion to toy with her. Even if it was real… life was agony. Years of torture had drained every ounce of her strength. Death seemed like mercy.

"@MiserableUchiha, what about you? Will you be my wings?" Kevin asked directly.

"No."

"This way, you won't have to die."

"Dying would be better."

"But don't you want revenge?"

"Revenge…" At last, Izumi Uchiha's emotional state began to fluctuate.
