Both of them smashed into the trees below the cliff edge.
Ankit rolled into a crouch, gasping, while Veron crashed through a boulder.
Silence followed… then the creak of heavy footsteps.
The bounty hunter emerged—bloodied, furious, but smiling.

Ankit sheathed his swords.
