⚔️ Chapter 59 –
"Some dungeons are not created. They are remembered."—Inscription on the gate of the Forgotten Dungeon
🏫 Sinjai Academy – Unexpected Announcement
The morning sun cast golden rays over the academy as the students gathered for the third stage.
Principal Gravis stood on the floating stage, his voice amplified across the sky.
"A new dungeon has been discovered… completely undetected by our radars. Its entrance opened only for a moment last night, in the eastern wing of the Training Forest."
All Seekers turned to one another, confused. No one recalled such a gate.
"We've designated it as Dungeon #404: The Forgotten Rift."
The strange thing?
The coordinates didn't exist on any of the academy's updated maps.
🌫️ Aeren's Sudden Pull
That night, Aeren wandered alone under the stars.
A whisper carried through the wind:
"Come back to where you were unmade."
The grass beneath him bent inward like a spiral, and without warning, the world around him warped.
No spell. No portal stone.
Just a blink.
And he was gone.
🌌 Inside the Forgotten Dungeon
Aeren stood in a corridor made of shifting stone—walls that moved like breathing lungs. Clocks with no hands lined the hallway.
"What… is this place?"
He walked slowly. The silence wasn't natural—it was suppressed. Like even sound was afraid to exist here.
And then… he saw it.
A mirror, not reflecting his current self—but a version of him, older… darker… with an eye glowing crimson.
The reflection spoke.
"You're catching up, Vessel."
Aeren backed away.
"Who are you?"
The reflection smiled, tapping the glass.
"I'm the first life you forgot. The one who broke time to save the world. And now… it's your turn."
Before Aeren could respond, the glass shattered—sending waves of energy into his chest.
🧬 The Power Surge – Memory Unlocked
Suddenly, visions flooded his mind:
The birth of Crosnic Verse, ripped open by cosmic war.
The fall of Chronyx, betrayed by those he protected.
The monsters bowing not in fear… but loyalty.
And a whisper:
"You are not meant to be a Seeker. You are meant to be… a Balancer."
His chest burned. A symbol appeared on his right hand—two intersecting clocks with broken hands.
The Mark of the Timeborn.
💀 Back at Sinjai – Trouble Brews
Meanwhile, in the academy, Anshi was growing restless. Aeren hadn't returned.
She stormed into the seeker council room.
"Where is Aeren? No one has seen him for over 12 hours!"
Kaelron looked at her, worried. "We… can't track him."
Mistress Vei stood slowly. "Then the Forgotten Dungeon… accepted its true master."
Anshi froze. "What did you say?"
"The dungeon wasn't discovered. It was waiting for Aeren."
