Chapter 65 - The Tower of Mirrors & The First Broken Truth

šŸŒ’ Chapter 65 –

"Some reflections show more than the face. They reveal the fate."

šŸ›ļø Scene 1: Midnight at Tower 7

The winds howled faintly as Aeren stood before Tower 7, one of the oldest and least used buildings on the edge of Sinjai Academy.

There were no lights. No guards.

Just a rusted metallic door… and a faint hum, like the whisper of time itself.

As he stepped inside, the door sealed shut behind him.

No turning back now…

A low voice echoed:

"Welcome, Seeker Candidate Aeren."

The hallway lit up with ancient blue sigils. At the end was a vast room—a dome of mirrors. Each mirror shimmered unnaturally, glowing with eerie runes.

In the center hovered a silver orb.

The voice spoke again:

"This is the Mirror Vault. Created long ago by Chrono-Seers to test the truth within a soul."

"Step forward. Face the reflections you've long forgotten."

šŸŖž Scene 2: The Mirror Visions Begin

Aeren stepped into the circle.

Suddenly, the mirrors came alive—not with his reflection, but with visions from the past, future, and forbidden timelines.

He saw—

His mother crying, whispering: "Forgive us, my child… we had no choice."

A young Aeren—surrounded by hooded people, being injected with golden blood.

Anshi, injured, screaming his name while a great beast towered over her.

Himself… older, darker—floating in air while entire cities bowed to him.

Then—a clocked man appeared in the mirrors, standing atop a ruined tower.

The man raised his hand, and every monster in sight dropped to its knees, trembling—even a Level 10 Abyss Hydra.

"That's…" Aeren whispered.

The voice answered.

"That is you. Or rather, the version of you… from the lost prophecy."

šŸ“– Scene 3: The Broken Prophecy

The orb glowed, revealing an ancient scroll:

"When the child of the twin fates awakens, the verse shall bend. The monsters shall kneel, the sky shall bleed, and the Clockwork Titan shall rise once more."

Aeren's eyes widened.

Me? Clockwork Titan?

Suddenly, pain surged through his head.

The seal on his powers trembled—another piece cracked open.

Mind of Time: Passive Awakening Unlocked

Ability: Temporal Perception – Perceive the movement of time in short bursts.Duration: 2 seconds per triggerEffect: Perfect dodge, accelerated learning, advanced pattern foresight.

He fell to his knees, breathing hard.

"This… is too much."

The voice replied coldly:

"You've only begun to remember. Now leave."

The orb vanished.

The door behind him reopened.

šŸ« Scene 4: Return to the Academy Grounds

As Aeren exited Tower 7, the moonlight painted silver across his back.

His shadow was no longer just his—it now held a faint glow, almost like… wings?

Waiting outside was a familiar face.

Anshi.

"Where did you go?" she asked softly. "I felt something strange. It was like… your presence changed."

Aeren looked at her, unsure how much he could say.

"I don't know what's happening, Anshi. But something inside me… it's waking up."

She took his hand.

"Whatever it is, we'll face it together."

From the rooftops, unseen, a silver-eyed observer watched.

"The Clockwork Prodigy lives. And his heart… still belongs to her."
