Cyrus stood there unable to move .
His trembling legs finally
gave up .
The sheer presence of that monster was enough to take down someone as Cyrus.
His mind was blank.
Nothing can define what he was feeling.
His mind failed to comprehend the monstrosity.
Cyrus (terrified with whole trembling body)
What ..... What ..... Think.. think
Fuck ...
My eyes are bleeding.
Then it Screems not powerful but
Thine like a blade going form one side of ear and coming out form the other.
Then suddenly it changed.....
......
The Screems become loud like a rage beast unable to breakthrough.
Cyrus ears were in turmoil like
The blade that was inside the ear just open its tiny sharp spike from all side.
The Screems was so deadly that Cyrus ears started to pouring blood like water.
Cyrus body was begging for him to fall down give control to the body just this once.
But Cyrus hold his ground.
Cyrus mind was calculating on how to defeat that monstrosity with his current power level.
But his mind was unable to think of a outcome where he was even able put scratch on that monster.
Then straighten his hand and start
Crawl to nearest rock to take shelter.
And hide behind it.
.....
He breathing too fastly.
.......
He knows hidding doesn't matter that thing can swallow entire dominan Nexus.
Ahhhhhh...
Cyrus body was not listening.
Then he took a knife out of his hidden pokect.
And put a scratch on his left hand.
Then blood started pouring down instantly
Like escaping his body.
Finally Cyrus mind and body was clam.
After taking time and emptying his mind.
Relaxing his whole body .
Then he observe that all this time gmonster must have sense him.
But it didn't attack him.
then he noticed that the monster was not trying to escape it was trap there.
Only it's mouth was visible.
It's whole body was trapped inside the planet.
Even after finding out he didn't dare to move .
What if he move and something gets activated and released that thing.
Then
He moved slowly
Breathing slowly and in control.
Walk...

Then after getting away form it he said.
Cyrus ( low and clam)
I can't hear it's Screems anymore looks somekind of barrier is at play.
The Screems can't be hear to this point.
The one who put that monster there was the one behind this too.
..... He thought.
Now Cyrus was far away form that monster.
Then
Suddenly—
A flicker of orange light ahead.
Fire.
Instantly alert, Cyrus narrowed his eyes.
Cyrus (low tone):
"Impossible. No one should be here."
He pulled out a detection charm. Nothing triggered.
Still — even though he was very tired and need rest
he still advanced slowly, lowering his center of gravity, scanning for traps.
> No motion sensors.
No explosives.
No magical glyphs.
No biological residue.
But... signs of recent presence.
The campfire burned low, flickering like it had been burning for only an hour or so.
The embers were fresh. Someone was here. Very recently.
---
As Cyrus circled the fire, there was nothing special about it .
There was not even tent.
Then he saw.....
A black book, lying beside a stone slab.
As Cyrus pick the slowly it might some sudden trap.
The book was heavy but not old.
Cyrus (confused but alert)
Huh?
A book
The book wasn't ancient, but not newly crafted either. Its cover was made of dark leather with an unfamiliar symbol engraved into it — a swirling spiral with jagged edges.
Cyrus picked it up cautiously.
The moment his hand touched the cover, a faint pulse traveled up his arm.
> Dimensional energy.
Cyrus (cold whisper):
"What the hell is this...?"
....
He didn't check it there he first started preparing to set tent here.
He put every detection devices on 100 meter radius.
.......,...
Then after sitting on the rock.
While having a piece of meat and some position.
He opened the first page.
The letters inside made no sense — jagged, twisted symbols forming complex patterns.
No language he knew.
Not one of the 187 languages he had mastered.
Then put aside his meat and
He pulled out a translation device — but the signal was jammed inside this dungeon.
As expected.
> Always prepared.
From his pack, he retrieved a heavy, worn dictionary — one he used for unknown linguistic structures. A habit from years of preparation.
> Always prepared
He sat near the flickering fire and began decoding.
---
Hours passed.
The fire dimmed.
The crystals pulsed faintly against the dark walls.
> One alphabet deciphered.
A few words cracked.
Sentence structures forming.
Five hours later, he had finally translated the book's title:
> The 12 Protagonists of One Universe
Cyrus's chest tightened.
His pupils dilated slightly.
> What kind of book is this?
