[Skill Card: Evil Containment Wave Reflection]
Allows the user to redirect the target of the Evil Containment Wave, sealing a different individual in its place.
This card… on its own, was pretty much useless. But paired with the Evil Containment Wave, it became a game-changer—perfect for catching someone off-guard.
But still...
Rasa couldn't help but complain about the gacha system's garbage after-sales service. These two cards didn't even come as a set. He'd drawn the Evil Containment Wave first, and only managed to get the Evil Containment Wave Reflection a bit later.
If he hadn't gotten lucky, then everything he'd just pulled off? Total waste.
Seriously—no refunds, no bundles, no guarantees. You spin, or you don't.
How is this even legal?!
Rasa didn't hesitate. He dashed straight at A, forcing the Raikage to turn away from Killer Bee and meet his attack head-on.
This strange jutsu…
There was no direct damage. Just a massive suction force.
A sealing technique?
A frowned slightly, his body crackling with Lightning Release chakra. He was taking this seriously.
If I target the user… or maybe that damn basin…
His eyes flicked toward the basin, and in the next instant, he launched himself at Rasa.
But Rasa wasn't about to let him finish that thought.
He wasn't here to drag out a dramatic duel.
This wasn't some shonen manga showdown between the Fourth Kazekage and Fourth Raikage.
He was the village's only hope, carrying the future of Sunagakure on his back.
No speeches. Just win.
"Evil Containment Wave Reflection!!"
Rasa roared—and with a sudden snap and a high-pitched shriek—
A blinding blue light and a vortex of sand and chakra surged forward, sucking everything straight into the foot basin.
Without wasting a second, Rasa lunged forward, slammed the gaudy, gold-colored lid over the basin—specially designed to suit the Raikage's flashy style—and sealed it shut.
Between the Raikage's own lightning armor, the unexpected redirection, and the close range...
He was in.
Sealed.
Just like that.
For a few moments, the entire battlefield froze.
No one moved.
No one spoke.
Because in the blink of an eye, the massive, imposing Raikage had been sucked into a… was that a foot basin?!
Even Killer Bee, still in his half-transformed state, was stunned. But when he realized what had just happened—he snapped.
Rasa didn't wait.
He grabbed the basin and bolted.
No way he was sticking around—if the basin cracked or broke, all this effort would be for nothing.
Now he just had to make it back to base safely and wait for the inevitable: negotiations.
Because at this point...
Sunagakure had won this war.
A surge of gold dust erupted beneath his feet, lifting him high into the air and carrying him across the battlefield.
"Retreat!"
He shouted down to the still-stunned Sand shinobi.
"Everyone fall back—now!"
The others quickly caught on.
They were buzzing with excitement. Their future Kazekage had just gone 1v2 against the Raikage and Killer Bee—and won.
Sure, it was a sealing victory. But who cared?
If you called for the Raikage right now, would anyone answer?
Exactly.
So they ran.
There was no reason to stick around.
Especially since the Cloud shinobi were clearly about to lose it.
But Bee wasn't about to let it end like this. Still half-transformed, his claws tore into the sand as he charged after Rasa, bulldozing through every trap and jutsu in his path.
Rasa glanced back, frowning.
The Cloud forces were in pursuit, and they had the numbers. If this kept up, it wouldn't matter that he sealed the Raikage—they'd all be wiped out.
He looked down at the basin in his hands and sighed.
He had no choice.
He raised the golden wave of sand even higher, just barely out of reach of a potential Tailed Beast Bomb—but still not entirely safe.
Then, balancing the basin in his right hand, he pointed a sharpened sand spike at it with his left, and bellowed—
"Everyone STOP!!"
His voice rang across the battlefield.
Instantly, both sides froze.
Even Killer Bee, growling and panting, halted. His red eyes narrowed, fixed on Rasa.
"Attack me again," Rasa snarled, "and your Daimyō can forget about naming a Fourth Raikage."
His smile was cold. His spike hovered over the basin.
"Hell, you might need to skip straight to the Fifth."
"You bastard! What are you trying to pull?!"
One of the Cloud shinobi stepped forward, glaring up at him.
"Release the Raikage, now! Or else—"
Crack!
Rasa pressed the spike harder against the basin.
The Cloud ninja fell silent.
Who the hell knew how this jutsu worked?
What if breaking the seal meant killing A?
And let's not forget... the Third Raikage?
Yeah, that's his dad.
"…All Cloud shinobi will cease hostilities and withdraw," Rasa said coldly. "No further attacks against the Sand. As for negotiations—my bones are sore, my mood's bad. We'll talk tomorrow."
The Cloud side erupted in chaos.
"No way! That's bullsh—"
But before anyone could finish—
"We agree."
Killer Bee had finally regained control. Standing beneath Rasa, he looked up with a grim and steady gaze.
He clutched his chest, clearly still struggling to adjust to the Tailed Beast chakra. The strain was obvious.
He's keeping control even in half–Tailed Beast form…
"I'll say this once," he growled. "Ensure the Raikage's safety. And don't push your luck, Sunagakure… or else—"
His eyes flicked up to the sand drill still hovering over the basin. The bravado cracked. He let out a helpless sigh, clearly trying to think of a way to lighten the mood—
But nothing came.
All he could do was exhale slowly, resignation in his voice.
"…We'll talk tomorrow."
Then, turning to the furious Cloud shinobi behind him—
"Let them go!"
"But Bee-sama, surely the Raikage would—"
"Shut up. I'm in charge here now."
Bee's usual grin was gone. His voice was ice.
He swept his gaze across the mutinous faces, and they finally lowered their heads.
"…The Third'll understand," he muttered.
"After all—he's the Raikage's father."
Yeah—his actual, biological father.
Meanwhile…
Somewhere off the main road in a forest clearing...
"Konoha?!"
Chiyo's expression darkened as she looked at the Leaf ninja who had suddenly appeared, surrounding her team.
"Looks like… you're here to ambush the Cloud's supply lines too, huh?"
