By noon, the group reached the town near Star Dou Forest. The group parked the carriages in the town and left the coachmen to take care of it. Yue Guan and Gui Mei took Bibi Dong and Liu Mengmeng and entered the Star Dou Forest.
As they went further, the trees became taller and denser and biodiversity also increased. Soon they crossed the area where decade old soul beasts reside and enter the area where century old soul beasts are active.
"The soul beast that needed to be hunted to get soul ring for Miss Bibi Dong is spider type but what kind of soul beast Miss Liu Mengmeng needs to hunt?" Yue Guan asked in a feminine tone.
"Elder Yue can just call me Mengmeng. The soul ring ability of my Arceus martial soul doesn't depend on type of soul beast from which soul ring has been obtained, so any soul beast of appropriate age can be hunted." Liu Mengmeng replied.
"Elder Yue can call me Dong'er as well" Bibi Dong said from side.
"Since that it the case that we will first hunt the soul ring for Dong'er." Yue Guan said and signaled Gui Mei with his eyes and Gui Mei soon disappeared from their sight.

"Dong'er and Mengmeng, come and kill these soul beasts and absorb the soul ring. We will keep gaurd for you both." Yue Guan said.
Bibi Dong took out a short sword from the storage soul guide necklace and went to kill the Blade Spider. Similarly Liu Mengmeng also took out a short sword from storage soul guide ring and chopped the tree core.
After soul ring appeared, both girls sat cross legged on ground, summoned martial soul and pulled the the soul ring and started absorbing it.
Since she started absorbing the soul ring, Liu Mengmeng's consciousness came under a starry sky and Arceus with 18 slates appeared in front of her but all the slates were dim and inactive. She got the information as soon as she saw this and understood that with each soul ring added, two slates can be activated.
And the choice of slates were in her own hands. So she thought hard which two attributes should be activated first to maximize their benifit. Fist, she ruled out the elemental attributes. Then bug, dragon, fairy and ghost attributes are excluded as well. The remaining attributes are normal, fighting and psychic.
In Douluo continent, physical strength and mental strength, these two things are most basic so she finally decided to chose Fighting and Psychic attributes as these two attributes can help her most in early stage.
As she made the choice two slates started to getting brighter little by little. At last, two slates, one red and one dark pink in colour, completely lit up and Liu Mengmeng woke up at the same time.
Waking up, Liu Mengmeng felt her clothes were little tight. With the successful absorption of soul ring, her body has grown up a bit and looked like 8-9 year old. She also saw that Bibi Dong has also woken up nearly at the same time.
"Dong'er and Mengmeng, you both has woken up, so let's leave the forest and talk on the way." Yue Guan said.
"Yes Elder Yue" Both girls saw that there sun was about to set so they readily agreed. If possible they don't want to sleep in forest.
"What soul skills have you obtained?" Yue Guan asked on the way back.
"My first soul skill is called Sharp Legs and it will increase sharpness of spider legs by 20%" Bibi Song replied first.
"It is good soul skill considering it's age." Yue Guan said and Gui Mei also nodded silently.
"Mengmeng, what about you?" Yue Guan asked.
"My soul skill doesn't have any name. It only activated thses two slates." Liu Mengmeng summoned the red and dark pink slates from her body and continued, "Each slate gives me access to a different attribute, these two slates correspond to body and mind."
"Body and mind, these two good." Gui Mei said suddenly.
The group soon reached the town, rested for one night and next morning, they began their journey back to Martial Soul City.
