Chapter 24 - ch-24 winning first prize

The next morning, soft rays of sunlight streamed into the cabin through the curtains. One by one, the girls began to stir and wake up. As they opened their eyes and looked around, their cheeks instantly turned pink. They realized they had spent the entire night sleeping so closely with Akg.

Even more embarrassing—Akg, still fast asleep in the middle of the bed with Rena resting calmly on his chest, hadn't exactly kept his hands to himself during the night. His arms had shifted here and there in his sleep, brushing against them a few times, sometimes holding them a little too closely.

But strangely enough… none of them felt uncomfortable. Instead, their hearts pounded, and they didn't resist. Deep down, they had started liking him—not just for what he did to protect them, but for the kind and gentle person he truly was.

They glanced at each other shyly, each of them blushing softly. None of them said anything, but their gazes spoke volumes.

Akg, meanwhile, continued sleeping soundly, unaware of all the tension and warmth around him. His expression was peaceful, and Rena nuzzled into his chest quietly.

Not wanting to disturb him, the girls let him rest a bit longer. They quietly got up, washed their faces, and got ready for the day. When Akg finally woke up and began getting ready, he noticed the girls kept glancing at him with shy smiles and pink cheeks.

He blinked, slightly confused. "Is something wrong?" he asked himself quietly. But then he shook his head, brushing it off as just his imagination.

Soon, the team made their way to the stage area, where all campers were gathered for the results of the previous day's Pokémon capture challenge.

After a short wait, Dr. Oak stepped up onto the stage and raised his hand for silence. "Everyone, thank you for your hard work yesterday. Now, the results!"

The crowd went quiet.

Dr. Oak smiled. "With the highest number of Pokémon caught and an excellent variety, the team that wins first place is… Akg's team!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd—but none louder than from Akg, Serena, Chloe, and Korrina. Their eyes sparkled with joy, and they cheered together, high-fiving and laughing.

That victory wasn't just a win—it was a reflection of their teamwork, bond, and growing closeness.

These few days had changed everything. They had laughed together, shared meals, slept side by side, and faced danger as one. And in doing so, the bonds between Akg and the three girls had deepened into something that would stay with them forever.

And just like that, the final day of summer camp arrived.
